Eros, a white wolf of only one cycle flew out of the woods into the open field as he attempted to capture the butterfly he had been pursuing. A monarch of orange and black wings entranced the pup like wolf as he hopped forward again, " Hey you come back!" he exclaimed as the insect started to rise on a warm breeze too high for him to reach and the sun hurt his eyes something awful. He took one last leap and snap with his jaws only to miss the thing he had been after and come down to the soft grasses of the field where he could shut his eyes for a moment so the stinging sensation would go away. Once he had sat there for a few minutes he brought his eyes open only slightly so that the sunlight wouldn't make them hurt so badly as he looked around to figure out where he was only to discover he was lost. He sniffed the air trying to determine if he had stumbled upon another territory and if so he had to announce himself quickly before they viewed him as a threat. Getting a nostril full off fresh wolf scent he quickly amended the situation by howling to let the others know he was there but meant them no harm.
