Running

Dark Maw kept going, happy to have gotten away from the lake. He knew part of these lands, he knew he could hide out from the pack. Wary of other loners he headed towards the den he used to use.

Silver sprinted forward, dark maw's scent grew stronger with each stride she took Silver grunted as his scent filled her with energy and rage.

Dark Maw crawled into a cave, an old den full of his aging sent. He colapses into a corner of the cave and drifts into sleep.

Silver sauntered forward smoothly and sopped right out side the entrance of a cave, she sighed and crawled inside she sat down at the entrance and stared at dark maw.

Dark Maw continues to sleep, unawar of Silver's presance.

Silver lay down and rested her head but refused to sleep.

Dark Maw wimpered quietly in his sleep.

scar came into the lands and whimpered slightly. she was panting and was shaking with eshtion. she staggered forward and colasped into the ground and went into unconsiush

Silver yawned and got up, she left the cave and went for a run she stopped as scar's body appeared in front of her. she whimpered and picked up the unconscious pup and carried her back to the cave where she curled around scar and started to groom her.

scar awoke to the feeling of being groomed she didnt open her eyes but stayed limp. but soon she fell asleep

Silver heard scars breathing grow then quiet down again, she had went back to sleep. Silver yawned but was determined to be awake till dark maw woke up.

scar twitched and mowned. she stirred and squirmed

Dark Maw slowly awoke. He yelped with suprise at seeing Silver and Scar in the cave."Sigh, I guess i wont be getting away this time."

scar woke with a yelp of her own when dark maw yelp yelped. she jumped up away from silver and bolted out of the cave

Silver looked out as scar sprinted away, she returned her gaze back to dark maw and sighed, "if you want to leave the pack you must tell mercury, and you should not be afraid, you are the alphas apprentice and so you will be protected carefully by him and me" silver got up and licked dark maw before she left the cave to look for scar.

Dark Maw watched Silver exit the cave."Fernis is trouble. His kind fills these woods. He will cause Mercury great harm."

Silver paused and looked back st dark maw with sad eyes "i know this dark maw and that is why i wish for you to stay, if all three of us stay together we will win, the strength of the wolf is the pack and the strength of the pack is the wolf" she hung her head low.

Dark Maw shook his head. "He is a savage one. The longer the lives the more damage he will do. No pack is safe from the ravages of one like that. dark maw lowers his head."These are harsh lands, Fernis and his kind rule here. No one is safe from a monster like that.

Silver nodded her head slowly then looked back at him, "maybe we can convince mercury to kick him out of some thing" Silver looked over as tears pricked at her eyes.

Dark Maw looked Silver in the eyes. "An enraged monster is the most dangerous kind. Go find Scar, warn Mercury, I will be fine.

Silver walked over to dark maw and pressed her face onto his shoulder before turning away and leaving the cave to find scar as she called over her shoulder "thank you dark maw, and feel free to visit" she loped away and started sniffing.

Dark Maw watched her go sadly. "fernis is unstable." He said to himself. "If i dont do something, He will kill them. But what could i do? I'm too small to pose a threat to a brute like him. No it would have to be someone else. Someone like Fernis. Dark Maw curled up in a corner and waited. Knowing an idea would come to him in time.

Silver sniffed the ground frantically, wanting to find scar so she could warn mercury about fenris. she howled out to scar then started sniffing again.

Fang heared a howl, not a familer howl, a howl of a strange wolf. He knew another wolf was near by. He was wandering near the edge of "His" land. Fang headed off in the direction of the noise. Hoping to find easy prey.

Silver looker around frantically and then started to call out "scar!!!" she howled again and tried to stay calm.
