Midnight came back up for air...with a fish in his mouth. It was a catfish, and he had to be extra careful so as not to get hurt. Catfish had knife-like shards on their skin. He bit down hard and flopped it onto land. Midnight quickly ran out. "Jazz! Lunch is served!" he shouted.

Jasmine quickly resurfaced and saw Midnight standing on land. She got out and shook her fur. Jasmine sat next to him and nudged him. "See! You have plenty of energy!" She exclaimed laughing.

Midnight snickered and tore at the fish. He looked at Jasmine. "There's plenty where this came from. I'll get some more." he said. With that he dove back under water.

Midnight came up with two flopping fish. He threw them on land and waded out. He sat down and nudged them into a patch of grass. He then looked at Jazz, before diving back under water.

Jasmine sighed out loud and sat for a little bit before saying "Ah, Midnight my knight in shining armor."

Midnight darted in the dark water and bit down hard into a bass on accident. Where had that thing come from? Whatever, it just meant more food. He came back up and set it down. "We'll eat this thing tonight, I have somethin' planned." he said. With that, he picked it back up and hauled it to the willow tree. He hid it in a tree hole. It was small enough and high enough to where foxes and cougars wouldn't find it. Plus, other wolves would never know it was there, considering the fact that the inside was covered in black berries and spear mint....and mist herbs. Nice little seasoning until dinner time. He smiled and walked back over to jasmine. He pulled out the cat fish and gave one to her. "Here ya go." He said.

"Thanks." Jasmine said digging into the delightful fish. After she finished, she sat there and waited for Midnight to finish.

Midnight finished and wiped his mouth. He sighed and rolled onto his back. "I wanna sun bathe." he said, wagging his tail. It had gotten warmer and the mist was not present at the moment. He smiled at Jasmine and then looked at the clouds.

Jasmine laughed. "Okay." She sighed. She got on her back and scooted closer to Midnight.

Midnight smiled and looked up at the sky. He saw a dragon breathing fire."Look, a dragon." He said, pointing his paw at the obvious picture in the sky. He smiled. Midnight hadn't done in a long time. It felt nice to have an innocence just silly enough to look up at the clouds and see things, to try and find constellations, and even maybe see things positively. He looked at Jasmine and sighed, thinking of all the times he had killed someone, or hated life, who never looked at a sunset and thought, 'that is so beautiful.' He sighed and looked away.

"Yeah. OOOOOH! Look! There's a unicorn." Jasmine said in a funny voice. She tried not to laugh harder but it busted out. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Jasmine laughed at her own stupidity.

Midnight chuckled lightly and he looked back at the sky. He didn't see it at first, but then it became clear. "Nah, it's a Pegasus." he said, as a small cloud floated from it's back.

Jasmine lightly hit his shoulder playfully. "IS NOT! IT'S A UNICORN!!!!!!" She yelled in an even funnier voice than before.

Midnight began laughing hysterically. "OK, whatever." he said shrugging.

"I see..... an..... elephant passing gas?" Jasmine said, more like a question than a statement. With that, she began laughing so hard she couldn't breathe.

Midnight burst out laughing. "OK, OK, OK." he said, trying to calm himself down.

Jasmine was still laughing, tears streaming out oh her eyes. "Looks like it's comedian night folks." She said in a manly-ish voice. Jasmine started laughing again.

Midnight burst out laughing again. His efforts of trying to be calm...were useless. He lost his breath and took in two useless deep breaths.

"How about that airplane food. Hold on, let's backtrack for a minute. What is up with airplane food? Is it really that bad? I like the peanuts on there. Unless you hate peanuts. Have you tried the pretzels. You know, I like pretzels. Do you like pretzels. I like pretzels 'cause pretzels taste good. When I eat pretzels, pretzels taste really good. You see that crow back there. Kina- kinda freaky. He smells like fart." She said laughing. Afterwards, she burst out laughing harder. She was killing it!

Midnight was dying with laughter. Except for the fact that inside, he was beginning to remember something again. He stopped laughing and almost seemed petrified, until Jazz made the next joke. He forgot about the memory and let it fade away without looking. He began laughing again.

Jasmine finally stopped and sighed. "I am the funniest person ever, right?" She asked in a goofy voice. She began laughing again. "Man!" She exclaimed laughing. "I've got to stop!" Jazz said between laughter.

Midnight calmed down. "Sure." he said. Midnight got up and stretched. He sighed and sat down by Jasmine.

After Jasmine calmed down, she sighed. "Hey? Why don't you crack a joke. I bet it's gonna be awesome!" She said in a goofy voice.
