Goldflame stood stock still, letting the breeze ruffle his fur. He took in a deep breath and smelt the scent of grass in need of some rain. He closed his eyes, and a gust blew in his face, cooling it. He laughed softly, and opened his eyes. Looking around, the only thing was golden grass waving in the wind as far as the eye could see. Goldflame sighed, not knowing if he would find anything in the vastness off the grass ocean. He lifted his head, and howled a mournful lonely song. Goldflame stopped mid-sentence and remembered that same sound he had made two years ago. He looked down, and the wind blew harder.
