How the Forest of Mist came to be

Before the Forest of mist was called that, it used to be very pretty. It had a great supply of food, and was not in loner lands. It used to be called, Sunset woods by the ancestors who wrote the histories of the wolves. How had it changed from beautiful to ugly and lifeless though? That question has been argued over by many of the screelies. The answer lies in this story.


A long time ago, when the gods were shaping the universe, two wolves were structured from the elements. One wolf was formed in the light, They named him Canus. The other was structured from the shadows, they named him Spirits. As they grew older, Spirits became more jealous of his brother, whom was rising in his ranks. Spirits was stuck as the lowly omega of the high pack. One day, Canus and Spirits were walking. Spirits tried to kill his brother. His efforts failed, and Canus cursed him. After that, Spirits tried to come back into lupus, but Canus and his beta Fenrir stopped his plan. He was thrown down into the depths of the earth. He one day met a tribe of evil ghosts. They agreed to help him take over the world. They rampaged two places. A volcano, and a forest. Their plan to take the volcano failed as the fire wolf was too strong for their army of evil mortals. But Spirits was determined to take over. They succeeded in taking the Sunset forest. Everyone who was living in it was killed as a raging fire swallowed it all. But Fenrir was there at the time. He salvaged the area by his temple. The plant wolf and water wolf were there to help him. He recovered a small amount and kept it hidden from Spirits with a wall of rocks and a tumultuous river. The water wolf, Christina, had dropped a powerful necklace down into the depths of the water under the falls. Spirits knows of it and will stop at nothing to find it.

Beware my fellow wolves, if he steps into what is left of the sunset woods, and finds the necklace our hope is lost. Guard your hearts, your mind, your soul and your body from this evil wolf. He is reckless and won't be stopped.
