Pelt Color: Shades hair is black, and her skin is very pale. She wears a black t-shirt and skirt with a midnight blue cloak.

Personality: Shade is shy and easy to upset. She hates it when she's called Shadow and enjoys fantasies. She is often sarcastic and loves to ignore people when she's reading. She isn't social and hates talking to people, but enjoys talking to animals and herself because animals wont talk back and she wouldn't judge herself. She does care about others, though, and can be quite kind if she wanted to. All this results in Shade being strange and confusing.
Other: Shade is an orphan, and was separated from her older sister Blu who was the only one who raised her. Blu was six years old when Shade was born, and their parents disappeared soon after Shade arrived. The only things Blue was able to scavenge were some books, non-fiction and fantasies. Blu never liked to read, so the books were left for Shade. Shade and Blu roamed around, and soon found an abandoned house they could live in. One day when Shade was out looking for a job for Blu, (Blue was sixteen and could work better jobs than cleaning a bench for ten cents each day.) She came home to find the books and Blue gone, and a sold sign in front of the house. She went out looking for Blu, but never could find her sister. Shade grew lonely, and soon became shy of the people around her. Shade started to think of herself as a sorceress, a result of being alone and always reading fantasies. Soon, all the kids in the city grew scared of Shade, and Shade had to leave. Shade wants to look for her sister more, but she's afraid of the kids who had put her in exile.
