Rain padded to the water, jumping in as she reached it. It had been so long since she had been to a place with this much water. Rich in prey, plenty of water, and even a spot for a den. She liked it here, spending the last few months of pup hood in a cave above the waterfall. She didn't remember much from when she had just ran away, but she remembered the old friends she made. "I wonder how they are faring..." She thought. she swam around in the water for a bit, enjoying the daylight. She didn't have to worry about food today, she had hunted a few plump rabbits the other day and should still have enough for today. She swam over to a rock besides the waterfall and scrabbled up. It was slippery, but she was born beside a rushing river, with rocks such as this being the playground for young pups. She jumped up and landed on another, more slippery rock. One paw slipped off, but she soon recovered. "Ha!" She laughed.
