| The mortal world is so dense and oblivious. It's so doubting and shoots down what they deem as "imaginary". I assure you, it's all very real. However, I must admit some of it really is made up! But most myths of the world are more than just fairy tales, they are living, breathing creatures that sometimes mixes in with you humans.
Try to name as many odd creatures and phenomenon you have heard of. Loch Ness, the Sasquatch, the Griffin. Oh, we do dwell in earth. Don't kid yourself, human. Lycans, vampires, elfs, and shifters may be one of your next door neighbors.
Oh so your wondering why I'm telling you all of this. Are you so sure? I don't want to have a mortified thing on my hands.
You may or may not be one of us. Even if you have a bit too much of the Unknown in you, you might get some kind of super power. You know, telekinetic powers, the ability to breath underwater, photographic memory. However, you can't affect anything material that way. Time travel is also forbidden. Good thing that we haven't had any of those yet. Mother Earth has it's reasons for everything, so you can't go against her.
Now, I'm afraid I'll have to be leaving. Explain to you? No way. I don't want a human on my hands. You get one question.
Who's the Unknown? Oh, them. We don't actually know. They're just this shadow in the back of your mind you have. We all have it, including you humans. It's called a "conscience". They inhabit you from the moment your born. With enough of it, you change into the supernatural. Same goes for animals. Now if you'll excuse me.

Summary:
Present time on earth. Basically the world really is inhabited by supernatural creatures who manage to cover themselves up. The Unknown are a part of the supposed "dark matter" of the world. However, we know nothing else other than that. You may choose from any legend and myth you've heard of. As for super powers, you'll have to check with me. It depends. Note, you cannot affect anything material. You can't move things with your mind, or bend someone to your will. Super strength is alright, but we can't exactly disturb the human world, can we? Now, you may play as a human or a myth. The exact place this is all set is in New York City.
Points of Interest:
Max's Pizzeria! Where you can enjoy great pizza and live jazz all at once!
Mcdonalds. You can hang out on the child's playground, or just each a crappy hamburger. Your choice.
Central Park. The giant forested area of New York City. It's usually inhabited by many of the supernatural at night. You can have a picnic in the day if you want.
Boardwalk. The giant, bright center of New York. You might see a performance off to the side, or a hobo walking around picking up trash. Feel free to check out the shops too. There's Aeropostale, Old Navy, or some side vendors with souvenirs.
Coney Island. The carnival! The carousel, Ferris wheel, and some arcade games. Wander the beach, maybe even have a date!
The Mall. Complete with theater and Chinese grocery store.
Upper New York. Filled with towering apartment buildings and a nice fountains. It's has many gated communities and the main residential area for those with big bucks.
Lower New York. It's ok down there. Not as bad as the alleys. This is where most of New York is housed.
The Alleys. In between buildings and the dark parts of New York are filled with creatures. Unknown vermin and known wander around here. Some dirty deals come through here as well. Gangs aren't very rare.
The Sewers. It stinks. A LOT. However, there are little rooms here and there that house the myths. Many of them actually stay there.
Arcane Headquarters. The headquarters are found in the sewers. Myths in need or cover ups for this magical world happen here. They are the police of the mythological counterparts. Honestly, they are much more effective then the human police force. Only those who are threaded deeply into the system know about it. It is a large white complex, complete with lab, computer room, library, and apartments for agents. The head of the Arcane remains unknown.

Name: *___* Nickname: He doesn't exactly have an actual name, but he may be called Baron, William, or Wilfred. However, on most occasions, he requests to be named by someone. Gender: Male Age: Unknown, however he appears to be 25 Strength: He is very swift and agile, and his reaction time is almost unmatched. He is muscled, and very good with a sword. He can manage with a gun, but would usually rather to have his saber. Weakness: He is very ticklish, and rarely shares his irrational feeling with others, causing him to be bottled up and practically indifferent in his ways. His Achilles heel is his lower back. Strike there and he may be unable to stand for a while. Species: (Include, are you originally human or animal?) He is a shifter, however he is very biased to his anthro fox form. He was originally a fox, but was turned into a shifter due to the dark matter. His form cannot exceed the size of a rhino, and the minimal would be a cat. He does not have the power to manipulate his DNA to that extent, and rarely shifts into something other than animals. Physical Description: He is a young man with blonde hair and cobalt blue eyes. His eye color changes as he shifts, but they usually keep blue sprinkles in them. He is 5'10, with a thin and muscular figure, and teeth that are too white. Outfit: (That is if you have one) As an anthro fox, he has a tuxedo with coat tails and a top hat with a red sash. He carries around a cane with a pure silver eagle on the head. It acts as a sheath for his sword. As a human, he wears a gray dress shirt with long black sleeves, and an unbuttoned flannel shirt cuffed up to his elbows with an upturned collar on top. He wears jeans and a black tie around his neck. Personality: *___* is an enigma. But in a nutshell, he is a cunning and sly fox. He likes to keep his mysterious air about him, so he rarely reveals his intentions to others. He's known many people, but he doesn't exactly keep them in contact either. Inwardly, he is quite lonely, but never admits these feelings. Things need to be done, even if no one wants to do them. Sometimes he can be seen to take care of others too much, making them feel useless, so he has retracted a bit and become a bit more cold-hearted. He is the type to doubt others and second guess himself, so he is easily thrown off by mortal desires and contradictions. Other: (Occupation, housing district, type of transportation) *___* is an agent for the Arcane. He lives in the headquarters, but often ventures out for days on end. He owns a black sports motorcycle, but rarely actually uses it. History: He was a fox, but after the changing, he's had amnesia. Several times actually. He's forgotten most of his past and name, but somehow always has some kind of "treasure hunt" for himself so he can gather his bearings. The name William means protector of the realms, which fits his current job description. He's been a member of the Arcane longer than most. Picture(s):  Name: Julian Damien Nickname: JD, however much he dislikes it, and Ju-Ju. He hates that one too. Gender: Male Age: 27 Strength/Weaknesses: He is very strong, and his intuition scares off most people, but when it comes to himself he can be really dense. His reflexes are great, but that leaves him with little stamina, as he puts everything into literally everything. Species: (Include, are you originally human or animal?) He is a Shadowwalker/Shade. He can travel through the shadows and manipulate it to his likening. He can commune with spirits and hold someone down for a few minutes, depending on the creature. He was originally human. He can also bring the tattoos on his arm to life. Physical Description: He is a very tall and lanky man. He is 6"0' and has black hair with bangs that covers most of his forehead. His eyes are crimson red and seem to glow in the dark. He has scars all over his chest and neck, which he hides with bandages, and he is unnaturally pale, as he rarely ventures out of the sewers. He also has a tattoo of a skeleton raven and dragon curled around his left arm. He can mask his appearance in shadows if he chooses, and become a dark, shadowy humanoid figure. Outfit: (That is if you have one) He wears a blank mantle, with a rope that secures it around his neck and left shoulder. It has a wooden moon hanging from it. He wears black boots and pants with a band of silver on his right arm. In public he will usually dons a black turtle neck with a dark green coat with fur on the hood and cuffs. Personality: He is very quiet and introverted. He prefers to be alone, rather than to have physical contact with a person. However, he can hold his own with those similar to him. He is very possessive and protective, but he tends to hide these feelings with a frown. He is calm and collected, and only changes tacts when someone tries to break someone close to him. He has many feelings he has hidden inside him, and bottles them up, but he is much more softer and open to those he is comfortable with. This will be hard to achieve though, as he is skeptical of every person he comes across. Other: (Occupation, housing district, type of transportation) He works as an agent for the Arcane, but he lives in the sewers and not in the actual headquarters. He has no actual mode of transportation, unless shadows count. However, it makes it hard to move in daylight. The bigger the shadows, the faster it is to travel. History: He was found half dead in an alleyway. The Arcane brought them back with him once they've figured out he was one of them. He woke up with scars and has basically worked with the Arcane to find his attacker as soon as possible. He had amnesia from the attack and remembers little to nothing before it. Picture(s):  Name: Yuzuki "Teresa" Naomasa Nickname: Teresa, Terra, Yu (you), Nao, and Masa. She is nicknamed Teresa, which meant to harvest, because of her past, and because it was much simpler for the Americans around her to pronounce rather than Naomasa. (In Japan they address each other via last name. Only if they are very close do they refer to them by their first name.) Gender: Female Age: 25 Strength/Weakness She is very lithe and quick, but she sacrifices strength for speed. Her persistence and stamina are unmatched, and her pain tolerance is high. However, she can be rather hardheaded and rely on manuals a bit too much. Species: (Include, are you originally human or animal?) She is a Raven Tengu, originally a raven. She is of the one of the more humanoid generation, donning only her black wings, and a somewhat narrower face, but she wears a mask with a beak to conceal her face. She can transform into a awkwardly large raven, but majorly prefers to go wingless. Physical Description: She has black hair, usually up in a messy bun, and dark, brown eyes which are almost black. She has narrow eyes and pale skin because of her heritage. She seems too young to be 25, and that is due to her "godly" status back in Japan. She has a petite frame, only barely reaching 5' 3", and a very, very, flat chest. It does bother her. Outfit: (That is if you have one) She wears black glasses, and a dark blue blouse. She sports jeans and sneakers often, with a pink fur vest to keep her warm. She dons white, pink, and purple fingerless gloves with a gray, wool scarf, and has a pink My Melody bag that she brings around with her. She also dresses in a Japanese yukata, with the layers ranging from steel blue to royal and gray. She usually has a veil on her head and will carry around a feathered fan with metal daggers on each stick. Personality: Yuzuki is an independent and strong-willed woman. She is overbearing and likes to treat most things like a game. She's an agent at the Arcane, and when there, she is a rather serious slave driver that doesn't allow others to veer off track. Her self-confident and cocky front hides the fact that she'll protect everyone around her. Even if it's someone she really does hate, as she sometimes stirs misunderstanding with her merciless teasing. She is very sensitive to other's words and takes criticism— both rude and constructive— very seriously. She's rarely honest about her feelings, and when she is, she is usually quite embarrassed about it. However, she will openly share what she dislikes about others and when thing don't go her way. Other: (Occupation, housing district, type of transportation) She works at the Arcane as a hacker/computer programmer and lives in the complex as well. She travels via flying, but will go in style on her motor bike. History: Yuzuki was a patron goddess for harvesting in the Kyushu. However, as the years went by she was forgotten and suddenly was only met with prayers to bring prosperity to others. She was a minor "goddess" in a way, and was only conjured up through the belief and suffering of the people. So once her purpose was gone she would be fairly weak as a Tengu. She fled as other ayakashi (Japanese myths) descended onto her alter, claiming her territory as their own. She left for America, being chased out from place to place. Picture(s):

Outfit: (That is if you have one) She wears a small pink bow in human and kitten form, a way to identify her. In human form she wears a long white dress, simply because she prefers it that way. Personality: She is kind and loyal. She can also be tricky and sly, and often confuses everyone around her just for a laugh. She does act catty, letting out a sound resembling a purr when she is happy or in pain. She is somewhat aware of herself, often not understanding of human culture because of her solitary cat life. Other: (Occupation, housing district, type of transportation) Being only six, she has no occupation, and being a were-cat doesn't go to school just because she feels it pointless. She lives in the alleys in human form, seeing she wasn't like humans, and she wouldn't fit in. Though, on the few nights she is once again a kitten, she spends them in luxury at Upper New York with a spoilt little girl. In that place she steals a few pieces of schoolwork, so she has some education. History: She doesn't remember much, only being kicked out of her home by her mothers owner when she accidentally scratched her. She remembers a good image of her mother, a silver tabby, and an image of a tortoiseshell that looked furious. She hadn't remembered any more after that, and so no one knows much about her past. Renegade is a Valkerie, and was originaly a hawk Physical Description: Renegades wings are brown with black speckles, her eyes are a vibrant amber, and her skin is Mocha brown. Outfit: (That is if you have one) Renegade wears a long brown skirt and a iron chest plate with a golden helmet decorated with small iron wings. Personality: Renegade is a disloyal protecter, bad and good at the same time. Anyone in life threatening trouble immediately is helped, while anyone who has authority is immediately the enemy. She will leave as soon as she had finished her task, and doesn't care about much but freedom. No one can stop her if she decides to do something. Other: (Occupation, housing district, type of transportation) Renegade is a free roamer, not sticking to any one place. Her mode of transportation is flight, getting her many places fast. History: Renegade was a hawk that escaped from the zoo, her hatred of confinement and not being free coming from this. When the Zookeepers caught her, she scratched one of them on the eye, causing them to try to put her down. They burned her in a fire and her wings went up in smoke, bringing an end to her life as a hawk. She got her Nickname, Rene, from when she rose from the ashes of her old life (almost like a phoenix, but not quite.) and put out the flames with the new wings of her life now. She took the name Renegade to show her rebellion of confinement and death, putting her in the world with renewed purpose. Picture(s): None

Personality: she is harsh and yearns for dominance. She is social and has a little pack of her a own at school. She has a time bomb temper, but she keeps it down for the sake of not being discovered. She loves fighting with swords and bow and arrows. She also knows the Japanese fighting skills and isn't afraid to beat people into submission.
Other: She lives in a luxury condo in Northern New York, but likes hunting in China Town and little Italy, or central park. She spies on the Arcane for no particular reason. She feels them unsafe and has many negative thoughts about them, such as running her pack from Norway.
History Rose comes from Fenrir the wolf king from the Norse mythology.(that's the myth I'm using) Although he was said to be a giant wolf, he was really a werewolf, and in human form he was a great viking. She is also German, native american, English and Irish. She descends from great alpha werewolves, so she is high ranked in the wolf society.
She came to New York after being ran out of her homeland in Norway.

Weaknesses: a great deal of attitude, and unable to cooperate- making her very betrayal.
Species: snowleapord werecat( goes by the name Ghost cat in form. In form, she is silvery with a slight red tint- with red eyes
Physical description: in human form she is 5"11', has black and silver colored hair and bright ted eyes.
Outfit: a red T-shirt with grey points at the shoulder and neckline. She also wears a black boots, and jeans.
Personality: she is very snooty and would much rather do her own thing than work as a team. She is very hard to get to when trying to be friends. When she gets angry, she does something to make the person pay. She will even betray everything she knows to get her point across.
Other: She lives in China town, and was welcomed in by the Arcane.
History: she came from the Himalayas, then was ran out yo Japan, then to China, then India, then took a train to Germany where she hot on a plane to New York
She lived in China town for a little not before being discovered by the Arcane. She worked for them on top secret missions where no one else could go. Somewhere along the lines, a Commander insulted her, so she betrayed them by yelling very important information to an enemy. She got thrown into arcane prison and had been there ever since.

The charcoal haired man ran his fingers across the dark gray wall. He pulled away, revealing a score of black soot and dirt clinging to his skin. He blinked with discontented eyes and wiped the residue onto his jeans. His footsteps reverberated weakly against the stone walls, and his crimson eyes wandered searchingly in the dim light. His lips were set in a thin line. He was trying to avoid meeting Will again. The shifter had a strange affect in him. Most likely some kind of insecurity, he found it hard to read the blonde. He furrowed his brow, wrinkles lining his nearly white forehead. The Shadow-walker clucked his tongue as he muttered dryly to himself. "Wonder what kind of idea of a joke this is..." He drew his fingers back to scratch the back of his neck in contemplation. He closed his eyes and drew in a deep breath. "Find a cat, my a-" The feeling of a presence made him freeze. It was another Unknown vessel. He lowered his hand and cast a glance behind him casually. "Who's there?" He called out, almost in irritation. 'If that's Will...I swear that shifter has nothing to do on his own time.'

| "Hello?" Kitty asked, walking out from behind a trash can. "What are you looking for?" She asked. No one normally came to Kittys ally, and if they did she hid as a kitten. But this person noticed her."Who are you?"She asked quietly. Being born a kitten, she liked her solitude. But with people around, she cant be that way. She wanted this encounter done and over with, but that didn't show. She was almost afraid, but she just fixed her bow. She would leave if things gone bad.

| Rose jumped to the next rooftop, trying to catch some wind. Not to fly, but for scents. She caught one, two actually. She looked down and crouched low to the roof floor. The young female surprised him. He'd expected an older form, but that just meant she wasn't his mark. He frowned, his lips pressing into a thin line. The young, cat-like girl addressed him cautiously. The warmth left by his hand had turned stone cold, and it sent an unusual chill down his spine. Little did he know he was actually being watching. He greeted the white haired girl with a grunt. He glanced sideways at her, instead of staring at her full on. Her large eyes seemed to drag in anyone who looked at them for too long. He cleared his throat, trying to ease the raspiness in his throat away. "It doesn't concern you." His voice came out in a harsh whisper. He was disappointed by the fact that he was still unable to identify two different life forms from each other. 'As always...' He looked away with furrowed brows. "I'm just a stranger who trying to get to work." He replied to her other question vaguely. His gaze settled on a graffitied garbage dumpster. The air around it seemed to ripple with unseen tension. He stared at it for a few seconds before dismissing it. "Sorry, I disturbed you." His voice was anything but formal. A loud thump suddenly took in all of his senses. He snorted derisively. "William..." He muttered warily.

| Kitty backed away as the other man came. Her fear still growing as they carried out a conversation. It was the scent of werewolf that caught her nose that made her drop to her knees with a shudder. She grew smaller, and grew a pair of cat ears. A tail started to appear. It wasn't a few minutes before she was a small kitten. Her transformations weren't always so quick, only in cases of extreme emotions did she not notice her change. With a shriek she jumped on top of the trash can and onto a ledge just beyond reach. Outfit: (That is if you have one) Renegade wears a long brown skirt and a iron chest plate with a golden helmet decorated with small iron wings.
Personality: Renegade is a disloyal protecter, bad and good at the same time. Anyone in life threatening trouble immediately is helped, while anyone who has authority is immediately the enemy. She will leave as soon as she had finished her task, and doesn't care about much but freedom. No one can stop her if she decides to do something.
Other: (Occupation, housing district, type of transportation) Renegade is a free roamer, not sticking to any one place. Her mode of transportation is flight, getting her many places fast.
History: Renegade was a hawk that escaped from the zoo, her hatred of confinement and not being free coming from this. When the Zookeepers caught her, she scratched one of them on the eye, causing them to try to put her down. They burned her in a fire and her wings went up in smoke, bringing an end to her life as a hawk. She got her Nickname, Rene, from when she rose from the ashes of her old life (almost like a phoenix, but not quite.) and put out the flames with the new wings of her life now. She took the name Renegade to show her rebellion of confinement and death, putting her in the world with renewed purpose.

| Rose growled. Silver fur began sprouting from her skin. 'Damn it, your gonna give my position away. I hate cats!' she thought bitterly. Her hair began to transform into golden hackled. Her eyes widened. Oh no, the wolf was coming out. She removed her jacket, boots, and other so as not to rip anything. A snout grew and her fangs grew longer. A tail sprouted and finally, a full, huge wolf came out, snarling out from behind the dumpster. A rat scurried from n front of it, the wolf stepping on it. The gigantic wolf swallowed it whole. The shade narrowed his crimson eyes at the cocky male in front of him. He snorted contemptuously and turned away with a sneer. "I have reservations about working with the likes of you." He muttered crossing his arms in frustration. The girl had transformed into a cat. She was a werecat obviously, but the action took his by surprise. A lone child able to transform that quickly was...Uncanny. But she seemed agitated and hissed at the darkness, leaping away onto a ledge far from reach. Julian raised an eyebrow, his gaze falling onto the dumpster he had uneasily stared at earlier. A low growl emerged from the green metal box, and he lifted his shoulders in surprise. A large, golden colored wolf emerged for the darkness, it's frosty blue eyes following his and William's. He stared back, his agitation revealed as shadows seemed to slowly bend towards him, pulled in by his negative reaction. 'Who...? It's definitely a werewolf, but what it's doing down here?' As a toothy grin emerged on the wolf's muzzle, Julian felt a warm weight on his shoulder. He glanced over at William, a self-confident smirk plastered across his face.

"Eh...?" Julian's clear rejection seem to have an effect on the blonde, but the girl caught his attention again. As she jumped away, he stood up, his knees popping a severe look on his face. He could feel the hair on his arm raise as the cat hissed, leaping up onto a ledge. He followed Julian's gaze to the dumpster, a wry smile on his face. "Ah...Why is it a werewolf? Lycans are so much easier to console with." He chuckled, setting his hand on Damien's shoulder. "Well, I suppose we can't help it can we?" He cast a reassuring look at his partner and stepped over to the female. He seemed to have step through a portal as fur fluttered onto his skin and a tux replaced the odd assembly of clothes the shifter had worn.
He spun his cane in the air, making an odd whooshing sound with it, and met her toothy grin with one of his own, ivory fangs peeking out from his off-white lips. His skin turned russet brown, and his eyes took on a yellowish ting. "Now...Miss is it? What do I owe this wonderful pleasure?" The anthro fox's eyes seemed to narrow to menacing slits as he smirked. He took off his hat, setting it against his chest as he bowed formally.

| Kitty watched from her position, creeping forward as her fur bristled. She didn't like dogs, or wolves, or any canine really. She shook as her paws came to rest at the edge of the ledge. Maybe she could run away.. If she could just be quiet enough... Apparently, that wasn't the way it would be. She hit the lid of the trash can with a loud thud, the momentum of her fall causing her to roll off and fall again, on the ground. These two hits left her winded, and she still couldn't catch her breath. Plus, her leg hurt. A lot. "Ow." She mewed faintly.

| The fox/man seemed to be fitting but she couldn't tell really. At least he didn't know what her human form was. A disgusted growl came from her maw. She narrowed her eyes and snorted. "Members of the arcane are no acquaintance or tolerance to my tribe." a snarling female voice growled
her ears perked and nostrils flared. She smirked and looked past the males, and saw a kitten land with a thud. She pushed the fox to the side with great streangth and leaped over to the cat. | Kitty struggled to get to her paws as the wolf leapt over. She backed away from the wolf with a small hiss. She lifted a forepaw, her leg hurting as she put pressure on it. She unsheathed her claws and swiped at the large wolf, her fear temporarily being replaced with territorialism. This was her home, and she wouldn't stand for this canine using it as a hunting ground. "Leave!" She hissed, growling as she finished. She walked forward a bit to actually scratch the wolf, instead of simply swiping at the air. She lashed out her paws, aiming for the wolfs eyes.

| Fang of Rose snarled and flipped away quickly, in fact very unatuarally it was for a werewolf to do. But not for the middle eastern wolves. That's where she learned. She narrowed her eyes at the misunderstandment of these creatures. No one knew how to talk to werewolves, accept for werewolves. Lycane though, betrayed their kind though and had joined forces with the Arcane. She snarled in disdain. "you fools!" she growled. Her form seemed to enlarge, but it was just her hackles amd her tail and ears. It seemed as if every hair on her pelt bristled with anger and distrust. 'calm down Rose, your Rose remember? Dont let Fang of Rose take over you. her human side chipped in. The wolf's eyes softned and the fur began shrinking in to her skin. She shot back behind the dumpster. The snout began shrinking, the tail shrivling up. She began putting her clothes back on. Rose caught her breath and noticed hungry she was. Her stomache growled. She dragged herself out, a blonde, lanky and beautiful girl in the wolf's place.

| This angered her deeply, "how dare you!" She shouted into the girls face. She threw her jacket off and instantly turned right back. She struck the girl so hard, that she flew onto the wall. You never mess with the sign of a wolf's clan. They will kill you. She yanked the necklace out from the trash and kept it in her hold. She grabbed the girl and flung her into the foxes arms. "Save the fool if you dare!" Fang of Rose snarled. She had made the brat bleed and heaved with strong hate and anger. "And I'll have no tolerance with you either!" She screamed. She pushed the shadowwalker onto the ground with great force and ran out into the road. "I will make you pay, all of you!" She howled. A car was driving. The wolf snarled and jumped onto it. She grabbed the idiot inside and bit his head off. She flung it to the girl snd boys and ran away as fast as she could with the body of the unlucky person.

The werewolf showed obvious distain for the Arcane. He heaved a sigh, his sharp eyes seemed to droop in exasperation. 'Yes...There is corruption here and there, but we're not all that bad.' She offered to eat him up, and cursed him for, terrorizing was it? The cat. However, he simply kept his thoughts to himself. But, the young girl seemed to address the wolf as of picking on someone who was her own size. The fox opened his maw to interrupt, but the girl acted faster. Threats and retorts seemed to flow from her mouth like music. It was all he could do to keep from sighing at the cat-dog attitude flowing off the two Weres. They bickered freely, the wolf picking at him and Julian a few times. "Why are they bringing us into this..." He muttered in exasperation, but it slowly grew out of hand. He bristled as the wolf attacked the girl flinging her over at wall, and finally tossing her to him. The blonde girl yelled without pretense, and ran across the street, killing a bystander in the process.
That was the last straw.
The Baron dropped the girl like a stone and ran towards the scene, his form shifting back into a human, this time with a dark green animal control suit on him, his hair black. He leapt over the car, tackling the wolf in the process. His cobalt blue eyes seemed to freeze, flecks of yellow still lingering in them. He quickly twisted, grabbing the wolf by the torso, digging uncharacteristic claws into her chest. He dung into her painfully, but refrained from drawing blood. He didn't need any more trouble on his hands. He landed on his back, hitting the street hard. However, he paid his new bruises no mind, wrapping her neck in a silver band, tightening it mercilessly. He didn't look to see if she was foaming at the mouth. He turned back to the alley and called Julian over. The scent of blood permeated the air, making him wrinkle his nose in disgust. He glanced at the headless body, but a shudder didn't run through his spine as it should. He was too aggravated over the fact that he wasn't able to have done his job on time. Now they had a dead human. 'Damnit, Teresa's gonna kill me.' He thought, his eyebrow twitching in irritation. His muscles were taunt, and his eyes sharp, the yellow fading as his focus slowly returned

The Shade paid the fight no mind. Instead he was set on observing the street, making sure no one noticed the odd occurrences in the alley. He drew the shadows up from the ground, covering their forms as best he could, and sucked in the other's shadows. It seemed empty, aside from some nonexistent cockroach or rat. He nodded slightly, satisfied with his work. When he looked back the girl was shifting back into her werewolf form, throwing the girl to William. Julian inhaled sharply, his crimson eyes wide being in surprise, and the girl ran across the street, spouting nonsense about fools and revenge. 'Europeans and their death threats. They really do love their medieval.' He thought dryly, stepping over to the girl as William hurled himself after the wolf. He was hidden behind a wall obstructing the street, but the scent of blood quickly filled his nose. He took a deep breath closing his eyes, and focused on not reacting spontaneously. Last time he was crawling in shadows, he could barely breath. It felt so cold and empty, he didn't wish to experience it again.
He shook the thought off and watched as a head flew in the wind. 'Crap...' He thought as a few screams entered his head with a crack. He cringed, hearing William calling for him, but he glanced over at the girl. She threw the head in the trash, maturely explaining their position. Julian snorted. "We will know well enough, miss." He said with a sneer. He muttered incoherent words about cats and their idiotic instincts, but turned to join William at the scene. He jogged over to them, laying a hand on the girl, shadows slowly crawling around the band around her neck, and around her legs. Hopefully making them too numb with cold for them to move, but there were no assurances. He cast a glance at the body, goosebumps rising on his skin. 'I hate this job.' He thought as sirens of police cars permeated the air. | |

| On the inside, Rose was about to cry
She was being shown a great deal of disrespect. That necklace wasn't just some ordinary chainvand charm. It was forged from the first werewolves from some of the finest star iron, with pure silver, and passed down from generations. When it broke, something inside her broke. Her family was bonded to the sign. She needed to go back to repair it. She was starving and wanted to go home. When the shifter attacked, it hurt. When that thing wrapped around her neck, she felt as it stlit inside and cut her breath and blood off. The shadow walker didn't have much an impact on her. She barely ever became cold, and it was just a small chill. She rolled her eyes. "Let go of me idiot! I'm a persons too!" she whimpered the last part as it became hard to breathe. Arcane has no care for werewolves. All they cared about was voncealing there stupid secret. Why did humans not need to know, hmm.

She removed her wings from the wolf and flapped them, raising herself off the ground for a few seconds. She wasn't as fond of wolves as some, but she couldn't stand the emotions coming from this one. "You do know she wants you both to leave, right? I don't think you should disrespect her wishes, seeing as what her lineage is.

Name: Yuzuki "Teresa" Naomasa Nickname: Teresa, Terra, Yu (you), Nao, and Masa. She is nicknamed Teresa, which meant to harvest, because of her past, and because it was much simpler for the Americans around her to pronounce rather than Naomasa. (In Japan they address each other via last name. Only if they are very close do they refer to them by their first name.) Gender: Female Age: 25 Strength/Weakness She is very lithe and quick, but she sacrifices strength for speed. Her persistence and stamina are unmatched, and her pain tolerance is high. However, she can be rather hardheaded and rely on manuals a bit too much. Species: (Include, are you originally human or animal?) She is a Raven Tengu, originally a raven. She is of the one of the more humanoid generation, donning only her black wings, and a somewhat narrower face, but she wears a mask with a beak to conceal her face. She has narrow eyes and pale skin because of her heritage. She seems too young to be 25, and that is due to her "godly" status back in Japan. She yelled out in misery, but the Baron choked down the sympathetic feeling fighting up his throat. "True, but murder will put in jail. I doubt you'll have much trouble getting out, but then you'll become a wanted criminal." He loosed the tie a little, hearing the flapping of wings in the distance. "It's not much of life on the run." He muttered indifferently. The Valkyrie flew down and chastised them, and the shifter listened with a nonchalant expression on her face. However much it seemed, the words pronounced the effect of guilt on him. He wanted to run his fingers through his hair, probably pulling out a few, but his grip remained on the band around the girl's neck, who had slowly began to loose consciousness. He cast a wary glance at the mistress, and undid the tie around the girls neck, brushing his fingers gently against the angry red lines on her skin. The winged creature remained as he picked the girl up, a hand under her knees and back. He watched her a few seconds before breaking out in a sigh. "I suppose you mean the necklace..." It was a wild guess, but theorized through the aggravation of the damage done to it. Too bad he was unable to remember anything of his past "studies". He couldn't remember what happened last year, never less the fact that he probably had gone through training for being an agent at the Arcane. The curiosity tugged at his mind, but Julian stepped into the conversations before he could say anything. He inhaled, exhaling in a sigh of exasperation. He blinked his eyes open, white dots dancing in front of his eyes from squeezing his eyelids too tightly. He looked up as a Valkyrie flew over to them, subduing the girl with a negative expression on her face. He watched, his head propped up on his elbow. He blinked a few times before standing up, his hands in his pockets. "Despite that, someone needs to make sure nothing gets out of hand." He glanced at the beheaded body. "...We're as much of people as they are...Ironically, they're the mortal ones." He narrowed his crimson gaze, not focusing on anything in particular. "She disrespected them, so they have every right to disrespect her. But, because of boundaries," He said motioning around his with a lazy hand. "We have to do it for the authorities. They can't accomplish something out of their element...Never the less the supernatural." He looked up to her, a subdued expression on his face. He was paler than usual, and seemed to age a few years. "We came here for a completely different purpose. New York is home to many more of us...We've had that embedded in our minds from the beginning." He muttered with another sigh. The female went on about them disrespecting her wishes because of her lineage. "I'm afraid she's not in Norway, Valkyrie. We treat them all the same." He replied with a tired expression on his face. "The werecat however seems to think differently, though...She hates her more than the others." He scratched the back of his head with a scarred hand. | |
