Having fallen asleep

Kihyah had fallen asleep after filling his belly he woke up and worked at the rest of the kill for breakfast, striping off part of the good meat that was left before he'd begin to gnaw on the bones breaking them to suck out the sweet marrow that hid inside of them. He had left a good share of the meat for his mate, they were to be headed off today having now rested here almost two full days now, it was time for them to pick up and head out. He laid down next to his mate still gnawing happily upon a bone as he waited for her to wake.

Kihyah grins as she shows him such affections he murrs happily as his own tail softly starts to shift behind him as well, he continues to chew until he gets to the sweet marrow then he spits out the bone moving his fores to offer her the delicate treat giving her maw generous licks as if to say it's yours take it. His murring growing louder in his chest and he nuzzles into her neck softly burying his face into her warm inviting pelt, he rubs his face lightly into her gently pushing against her.

Kihyah continues to rub his head all over her black pelt, up and down her neck slightly over her shoulder blade as well. He nudges into her again with his crown making little quavering whimpers and whines as if in a chorus of I love yous. He licks a few times at her fur stopping his nuzzle only briefly to let her know how much he loved her, they hadn't had a moment like this in too very long a time and it was only right they take the time before heading out to show each other a bit of affection.
