Rayna charged through the woods, her slender legs pumping fiercely. Her little brown body moved swiftly through the trees as she leaps over fallen trees and splashes through water. Her evergreen irises were bright with excitement. It was obvious the young fae had no idea where she was. She was too young for a mate but too old for the Adoption Field. She didn't fit in anywhere. That didn't seem to bother her though. Rayna flew through the woods as if she had wings. Her melodious laughter filled the area as did an excited bark every once in a while. Finally, the young one tired and she slowed her pace. She reached a tree an stood underneath it, her sides moved with each pant. She was breathless and happy. Once she relaxed, she sat on her haunches and watched the world around her.
