Bearusk padded around, occasionally stopping to lap from the creak. His thick, stocky stature made him sink slightly in the snow, and his paws and ankles were soaked in snow mas the cold, wet white stuff was clinging to his fur. He tried to shake it off, but to no avail. Eventually the young male got tired, and begun to try and dig in the snow to make a den. The ground underneath was frozen solid. So he tried at the banks of the river. Success! The mud had been soft enough to dig, and in a while the male had a den stuffed with dead ferns and moss. Crawling inside, he feel asleep.
