Carter heard Sadie shout enthusiastically. He sighed and pushed open the door for his room. Khufu ran out,and Carter was after him. He peered over from the stairs. Seeing new recruits walk through the hall,he waved. "Welcome to Twenty-First Nome!" He then ran down the stairs,and int the cinema with them. He pushed through the penguins and sighed. "Felix! Get your penguins under control please!" He thought he heard some scrambling around. Then a few penguins glowed,then shrunk into little wax statues. He walked past them with ease and then extended his arm to shake their hands. Khufu had settled on the back of one of the chairs,savagely eating a box of Cherrio's

Katey ran down the steps hearing new people. She walked into the cinema and saw a boy and a girl. "Hi, I'm Katey, daughter of Aphrodite." She said. "Hello Carter and Kufu, Sadie." said Katey, waving to the boys and nodding to Sadie. She sat down a row behind the new boy and girl. She leaned in and asked, "So, what brings you here?"
