The Silver Shine pack

Mercury glanced back. Checking if Silver still followed. Seeing she was there he flicked his tail. Then turned and comeued to the lake. He stood at the edge of the forest. Where a large lake started. The moonlight shine brightly across its surface. "What do you think?"

Silver stode aw-struck "its beautiful" she sat next to mercury and gazed out at the lake taking in the fantastic view.

Mercury chuckled. "It kinda is." Feeling the wolf lean on him,he was hesitant. Mercury sighed and leaned on her as well.

Silver managed to contain the rabbits that ran in all directions in her stomach as she felt him lean back on her, Silver sighed gently and thought to herself 'this is more than i could have asked for' her tail swished gently against the ground at the thoughts.

Feeling odd Mercury stood up. "I'm a going to go and hunt." He flicked his tail and disappeared in the trees. He quickly wove through the trees. He quickly found two rabbits.
Mercury made his way back,and dropped the rabbits. He nudged one to silver,and began munching in his own.

Silver acknowledged this with a flick of her tail and started to crunch threw the rabbit mercury gave her. When she finished she cleaned her paws and lay down happily.

Having finished his rabbit,Mercury licked his muzzle. And then laid on his back. He gazed up at the stars. Which were twinkling in the slow dawn of morning. He flicked his ears.

Silver slipped into a light happy sleep the warmth of the rising sun filling her fur with a warm sensation.

Mercury yawned. He curled up. Resting away in his own warm fur.

Sensing mercury was asleep Silver got up silently and trotted down to the edge of the lake, she sat and gazed down at the water, the sun glinted red from the surface bringing back long and painfull memories that should come up in her head. In a panic to drown them out she plunged into the water, the cold water rushed in to meet her body.

Feeling a splash of water from Silver's plunge. He sighed. He blinked his eyes opened and glanced down at the lake. He noticed Silver swimming. He blinked and flicked his tail.

Silver swam back to shore and crawled up she flopped into the dirt not bothering to dry herself, she panted gently the water shocked the thoughts from her head making her relies that she most likely woke mercury up but her strength was sapped and so she didn't try to pick her head up she only focused on the sounds that surrounded her.

Mercury shrugged. "Nice swim." He chuckled. "So,what do you intend on doing after this." Mercury flicked his tail.

Silver flicked her ears, to tired to feel angry or embarrassed she tilted her head and managed to look up "well i guess im going to clean my coat of this dirt then go to sleep" she rested her head for a moment before she pulled herself to her paws.

Mercury nodded. "Well after this..." He trailed off. "Well,I don't know what I'll do." He flicked his ears.

Silver looked up at him and gave out a big beaming smile, "well then i guess you have some thinking to do hmm" Silver laughed to herself. she got up and trotted into the cool lake water and started removing dirt from her coat.

Mercury nodded. He laid his head down and yawned. He watched the shimmering lake carefully.

Silver struggled to reach the dirt at the base of her neck, finally she gave up and jumped into the water she swam to the other side happy to feel the relief from the dirt she yawned gently and looked over to where mercury lay, she inhaled the scent of trees, squirrels and other animals. then plunged back in and swam back to were she fist got in, as she climbed out she shook herself flinging the water in all different directions.

Mercury blinked. He flicked his tail. He watched Silver carefully. Mercury then lifted his head. "Hey,umm. You want to do something?"

Silver tilted her head and gave him a grin "like what?" she pranced on her paws eagerly no longer tired but full of energy

Mercury shrugged. "I don't actually know." He felt his fur tugging him towards her. He shook his head. "I just feel like we need to do something here."

Silver rolled her shoulders gently unsure about what he meant and so she got up and sauntered into the trees while she called over her shoulder "why don't we get some thing to eat then we can wonder aloud to our selves"

Mercury chuckled. He called back. "Ok,but wait for me." He flicked his tail and dashed after her. He slowed to a trot besides her. "Do you know how to hunt?"

she laughed loudly "are you kidding me? i was one of the best hunters in my old pack...." Silver grew quiet and looked for signs of rabbit or some thing easy to catch

He nodded. "Sorry. She times some Faes don't know how to hunt." He shrugged and scented the air.
