Jack & Nalie

Bre chuckled light heartily. She gestured for him to get in the car. "You don't wanna walk all that way do you?" she asked

"I guess not." Jack shrugged as he climbed into the back of the car.

Bre smiled and got in. "Like walking?" she asked curiously, as they drove down the dirt road.

"Sort of..." Jack said, keeping himself from telling where he had been. Nalie would probably be worried by now, so it was probably best that he waited for her to ask what he was doing. He would have to come up with something.

Bre pulled up to the house. "Well, here we are. I'll hope to not find you walking at this time of day tomorrow." She said light heartily. With that she left the car, grabbing her wallet and other necessities.

Jack nodded as he exited the car. He walked inside and almost immediately Nalie ran up and hugged Jack, almost suffocating him. "Where were you?!" Nalie asked as she released her brother and then glared at him. "Nowhere..." Jack muttered as he walked out of the room. Nalie turned to Bre. "Where did you find him?" She asked, no longer angry but just exhausted.

(Nalies mood swings, Ill call this! I am making her and Jack more odd that they are... eh, it works!)

Bre sighed and sat down. "On the road walking." she said. She got out her books and began jotting down notes. She paused before looking at Nalie. "Did you feed Storm?" She asked.

"Yeah, I did. Hes really nice, at least when Jacks not around." Nalie said with a slight smile.

Bre smiled at Nalie. "yeah he's a sweetheart." she said. She wrote down the answer to a question on her paper.

"What are you working on?" Nalie asked.

Something for my class. We have to write an essay on the play wicked. Its nothing really. I have three different classes and none of them include math." She said.

"Wicked? What's Wicked?" Nalie asked.

Its a play about witches." Bre explained.

"Oh." Nalie said. "I've heard of witches. I think they seem cool." Nalie said.

Bre shrugged and smiled. "There OK." She said as if through experiance. But her voice betrayed something different. "In a movie." She concluded. She wrote down another word. "Don't think to hard about it, OK?" She assured Nalie.

"Ok!" Nalie said.

Bre smiled and began writing more stuff down. "You guys hungry?" She asked, looking up.

"I am!" Nalie said with a smile. Jack entered the room and leaned against the door frame. "I guess..." Jack said with a shrug.

"Thought you might be." She said. She got upnand took a bowl out of the fridge. She put it in the oven. A few minutes later out it came, a spicy Caribbean chicken with rice. She set it on the table. "My mom's best dish." She said to Nalie.

"It smells delicious!" She said with a smile.

Bre smiled. "Thanks." She said. She plated some for nalie and some for jack. She gave it to the. "Here." She said before returning to her work.

"Thanks!" Nalie said before starting to eat. "Yeah, thanks..." Jack said as he picked at his food.

Bre finally finished her homework. She put it in her binder and stood up. She let Storm in and sat back down. Storm sat down by her. Storm eyed Jack and furrowed his brow.

Jack set his uneaten food on the table and walked out of the room with his hands in his pockets as Storm sat. Nalie frowned as Jack left.

Bre shrugged and pet Storm to calm him down.Jack was even more moody than a woman.
