Sand between my toes :3 (Night Shadow)

Blair whined, backing away from the water and shaking her head.

Night put her head on Blairs neck and then the water from the tides crashed into the side and he was so scared that he went to close to the edge and fell but he clawed the edge as he tired to pull himself up

Blair ignored her own fear and raced over to Night, biting his scruff and dragging him onto the cliff slowly.

Night clawed the cliff then his foot slipped when Blair pulled him up he backed to the very tip of the cliff the water was still rising and fast and this was only the start of the storm

Blair quickly ran from the edge, running to Night and burying her face in his fur. "Night... I-I'm afraid of water..." she whimpered.

Night looked at Blair there was nothing he could do now he knew that he could never raise pups here if they weren't drowned he would never come back here he pressed into Blair "Don't worry everything's going to be okay"

She trembled against him, her breath uneven. "I-I can't swim," she panted. "If the water comes up too much, I drown and so do the pups," she whined, tail tucked between her legs.

Night looked down he hated being helpless then the water was getting to close he press against her knowing that this was probably the last time he was going to see her

Blair closed her eyes, breathing in his scent. "I love you," she whispered, deciding that if Death would take her, she would fight but accept it if there was no way out.

Night thought about how he lead her here and this was all his fault then the rain was slowing down and the water was going down slowly he looked up the storm had past he smiled but the water would have to go down and that could be a long time but another storm would come he didn't tell Blair so that she wouldn't be all happy in case another storm came and killed them

Blair's face was still in his shoulder, but she did hear the rain lighten. She shut her eyes tighter, not knowing what was happening. "Wh-What's going on?" she asked.

Night looked at her he had to tell her now "The rain is s,owly stopping" then he smiiled

Blair untucked her face from his shoulder, slowly opening her blue eyes. They sparkled when she saw the slowing rain for herself.

Night smiled then he looked around the water was still high he turned to her "So wanna raise the pups here?"

Blair hesitated. "I don't know. It's really nice... but the floods... what if it comes back, and worse?" she asked, sounding like a frightened pup. Her body trembled.

Night stared at her "I was joking" then he walked up to her the sky was not showing but the clouds had stopped raining now they were safe

Blair playfully glared at him. "Don't joke with me right now! We almost died!" she scolded him, reaching back to nuzzle her own stomach.

Night looked down then he laid down this could be a long time till the water goes down he thought

[I wish they would approve the pups]

Blair sighed, laying down next to him and resting her head on HIS paws. "I'm sorry, i didnt mean to snap at you," she mumbled.

Night smiled and put his head on hers then he looked the sun was setting it made the parts of the sky that he could see a pink

Blair smiled. "After every storm comes a rainbow. Or, in this case, a sunset," she whispered, a warmth in her eyes that hadn't been there in a long time.

Night looked at her and smiled then he looked into the sunset as the sun left the moon came out the play it fullness hit everywhere and lit up the ground with a white light

Blair smiled, turning her nose so it was tucked into his chest. She heard his heart beating and hers slowly matched it. She licked his chest.

Night smiled and put his down on her neck then he heard something a bug was right next to Blair it crawled up he and just sat there resting on her back it made him laugh and it moved to her ear and climbed up it and he said quietly "I shall call you Stephano"

Blair twitched her ear, making the bug go flying, and looked at Nigh strangely. "What?" she asked.
