An Old Elders Tale


A long time ago, in a place called Suntaki Valley, there was a Great War.

It all started when two packs, Fire Pack and Water Pack, got in a fight. For the whole life of the two packs, they have been rivals. Again and again they would fight about this, and fight about that. But this time, it got worse then just a fight, it was a war. The Fire Pack was saying Water Pack was stealing their prey, and Water Pack said Fire Pack was stealing their prey. Both packs refused to be guilty of any crime like that. "We know you took our prey!" Growled Fire Packs leader. "We didn't! You took our prey!" Shouted the Water Pack leader.

After days of shouting and growling, Fire Pack decided to start a fight. Fire Packs leader sent some of his wolves into Water Packs territory, in the Suntaki Valley. The Fire Pack wolves clawed and bit the Water Pack Wolves starting the war. Water Wolves clawed the Fire Wolves fighting back hard. Then the rest of the Fire Pack wolves came. The war Was On! A Fire Pack wolf even tore off an ear from a Water Pack Wolf. The Fight was rough and long.

This war went on all day and all night. The next morning the wolves started to drop like flies! The Fire Pack Leader slashed his claws against a Water Pack wolf and it fell to the ground. After several more hours of fighting, the only wolves left were The Water Pack leader and The Fire Pack leader. The two wolves had scars and wounds all over them. They stood about a wolf tail away, face to face. But they looked around at all the wolves that lay around them. That soon filled them with sorrow of ever starting this fight.

The two leaders shook paws, and said they would never fight again. As they did, their packs arose from the ground, alive and healthy. The two packs forgave each other for taking prey and lieing about it. After that, the two packs lived together in the Suntaki Valley, side by side. The Great War was over. The End.
