The Silver Shine pack

Silver trotted over to where scar sat in the water, she lowered her head and lapped up some water before she looked at scar and tilted her head "hey you ok?" she nudged her gently and sat in the water.

scar looked over to silver, then looked back to the water. " yea, i'm fine" she watched her reflection wavering. but one question kept running threw her head. she scrunched up her eyebrows in thought

Silver smiled at the face that scar made the sat up and stared out in a silent unwavering thought about what life would be like if she still had her parents.

scar sighed and took her paw and splashed the water where her reflection used to be, distorting it so it did not look like her. silent tears started to fall grntly down her cheek, she turned her head away as if looking into the forest so silver could not see her cry.

Silver saw the swift movement and went to scar, silver sighed and leaned over she fastened her teeth into the scruff of scar's neck neck fur and carried her out of the water. "come on lets see if i can teach you how to hunt" silver swished her tail and looked at scar as she out her down.

scar stopped crying and let her life her out of the water. " i dont want to learn to hunt i want my mommy and daddy back. scar looked away

Silver squeezed her eyes shut and held back tears, she finally looked down and sighed "i can't bring them back i wish i could cause no pup should have to go threw this but i can't bring them back" silver sniffed then turned away and curled in on herself.

scar went over and nosed her way under silver's front legs and put her nose under her leg too, she thought real hard but was able to remember a little hyme her mom sung to her since she was a pup when she was scared or sad. "Dont you cry, it will be alright. mommy's here, so dont you fear. the night is long, i'll be here all right along. so go to sleep, and do not weep. for mommy's right here and there's no need to fear... so close your eyes and rest you head i'll be right here. " scar shed a few tears but contiued to sing a few more times.

Silver inhaled sharply then licked scar and sang the song right back to her silently nodding off as she did.

scar soon nodded off as well but not before saying after she closed her eyes " good night, mommy" she didnt even noticed she called silver her mom because she sounded so much like her when she sand the song back to her.

Silvers voice hitched in her throat at scar's words but she soon fell asleep.



Silver yawned as the sun warmed her fur, she rose to her paws and trotted out to the lake where she caught a fish and went back to scar, she sat down and ate slowly, as she finished silver curled around scar and rested her head.

scar snuggled up closer to silver, murmmering in her sleep

Fenris Climbed out of his hole and howled his bloodcurdling howl that he howled after he caught the scent of victory and his new prey.

Silver flicked her ears as fenris howled a loud angry howl, she shuddered and stared out at the forest in thought.

scar stirred in her sleep flinching and then settled back down

Dark Maw aproached the edge of the area warily, knowing that he might be attacked or killed for tresspassing. The young pup observed the group carefuly, waiting for them to become aware of his presence.

Silver's gaze kept returning to the edge of the clearing, and yet she saw nothing, finally she sighed and got to her paws to see what was making her uneasy.

Dark Maw sat unmoving, observing the elder movments.

Silver sniffed around the clearing and sighed as she moved deeper into the trees careful to keep scar in her sights.

Dark Maw spoke quietly "My name is Dark Maw, i seek shelter."

Dark Maw sat very still, ready to run if he was attacked.

Silver flicked her ears and looked at the wolf before her, she looked around in case the were more wolves then baxck at him "i am silver, you can stay until mercury comes and decides what to do with you" she turned away and trotted back to scar, Silver lay next to her and looked over to dark maw.

Dark Maw nods at Silver. He leans aginst the base of a tree, slowly drifting into a light sleep.

Silver yawned but got to her paws and trotted of to the lake where she sat and stared off into space.

Dark Maw mummers in his sleep. shifts slightly be fore giving up and straighting up into a sitting posistion. He glances across to where Silver sits.

Silver's head hing low as she thought to herself about where mercury was and what scar was going to be like when she get's older.
