The Silver Shine pack

Silver smiled and barked back softly, she rolled over and waged her tail back and forth across the ground.

scar went to run in circles around silver, then sat down with a thud, from being so tired. she got up and went to sit by silver. " silver, can i ask you a question?" scar looked down at her feet.

Silver turned onto her side and looked at scar "you can ask me any thing little one" she smiled and tilted her head.

scar glanced at mercury to make sure he was asleep she hoped he was his eyes were closed, then she went to look back at her paws and took a deep breath " could you... umm... be my new mother.?"

Silver nuzzled scar affectionately "of course i will" she smiled and nuzzled her again.

scar sheaded a few tears out of joy, and murmered " thank you silver" she layed down still tired and slowly went to sleep, having nightmares awakened by her talking about a mother and started to relive her nightmare of a past, twiching in her sleep and and shaking.

Silver curled around scar and groomed her gently murmuring soothing words of "don't worry i am here" and other small sentences.

scar eventually stopped shaking and began to stop twiching and layed still, her nightmares fading away, she sleeped in nothing but darkness but the darkness was a good one, one that was warm and sacure. It was silver and her soothing words.

Silver lay her head on scar's back and closed her eyes soon drifting into a light sleep, twitching as bad dreams ran and flashed behind her eyelids.

scar awoke a few hours later, it was evening now. scar noticed silvers head on her and gently slid out from underneath it and streched, arching her back toward the sky. she noticed silver twiching and her eyes moving behind her eyelids and started to wonder what she was dreaming about and if it was a good dream or a bad one she couldnt quite tell. she looked around and decided to let her sleep so she went over to the lake and on one of the bakes waded in a little just up to her hackles and splashed around gettting dirt and other grime off her coat until it shined its naterl silver color.

Silver jerked up and yelped loudly, she looked around panic clear in her eyes, she bolted away and into the trees vanishing from sight.

scar heads shot up hearing the yelp and  saw silvers tail dissapearing into the trees and vanish from sight in a panic hurry. she waded out and shook the access water from her fur and took a few steps toward where silver vanished but stopped thinking that she might want to be alone. she went to sit down and after a bit she started to pace. she sat down with her left side facing the trees watching with intense focus waiting for silver to come out and say everything was okay. her right eye started to pain her and she restlly kept getting up and sitting down. the eye kept hurting its glazed over surface darting about as she looked around with her other waiting for silver to reapear, okay. " silver?" she murmered in a scared voice " i hope your okay" she sat waiting for silver to reapear

Silver ran faster and faster fear clutching her heart pushing her paws on propelling her forward, she panted as she ran slowing to a trot then to a point where she stood in her tracts, she looked around the fear and panic gone now replaced by wonder. Silver turned around and started back to where she had come from unsure of how far she had run.

scar obeyed mercury and sat waiting now for both to reapear and be okay.

Silver flicked her ears and turned to fallow mercury's voice "here mercury!" she set off at a faster pace sniffing for his scent.

Mercury caught Silver's words. "Hey! Scar's alright!" He then dashed after the fae's scent.

Silver sprinted over to mercury waving her tail in the air happily, she nuzzled him then turned and sniffed "we have to go back to scar" she walked forward then hesitated and looked back at mercury.

Mercury backed away when Silver nosed him. He shook his head and sighed. He padded after her back to Scar. An awkward thought in his mind.

Silver sprinted forward eagerly, she sniffed and fallowed Mercury's scent back to scar, she ran up to the pup and wagged her tail happily.

Mercury flicked his tail,his head lowered in a bored position. He blinked as he stalked towards the two faes. Good riddance. I'm happy that Fenris is gone...

Silver looks at mercury and waves her tail before lunging forward and tackling him, she giggles and runs away quickly.

Mercury was knocked to the ground. He sat up and shook s head. He sighed and flicked his tail. "Is Scar hungry?" He quietly whispered.

Silver sniffed once then turned and bolted into the trees, she snarled and pounced on a rabbit that was in a bush nearby, she crunched down on its neck and felt its body go limp, she turned and sprinted back to scar, she set the rabbit down and smiled "here eat" she sat and tilted her head.

Mercury sighed and turned to the forest. He stalked through the brush carefully. His dark silvery figure flitted through the trees. He narrowed his eyes at the small red bird pecking at the ground. He licked his muzzle,then silently leapt forward at it. Its head turned towards him in curiosity. The robin's eyes turned hard black,then he caught it's throat and snapped it like it was a stick. Mercury snorted and laid down onhis stomach. He started to tear out its feathers. The metallic taste of blood still lingering on his tongue.
