Midnight frowned. "Well... I don't think my rabbit was eating herbs. I think he was eating mushrooms or something." he said. He forced himself to swallow his food. He sighed afterwards.

" Hang on. Watch my rabbit, I'll be right back." Jasmine spotted a rabbit that was eating herbs. She pounced on it and brought it back to Midnight. " Here, this should tasted better." She said with a smile.

"Thanks." he said with a smile. "Curse of the disgusting mushroom hare." he said, spatting on the rabbit. He ate the rabbit Jasmine had given to him.

Jasmine started to laugh. " Yes, it must have been cursed to have tasted so bad!" She said still laughing.

Midnight laughed. "I'm waiting for night time." he said. He walked around a bit and yawned. "I'm taking a nap. Been a long morning." he said, closing his eyes.

Jasmine yawned. " I told you not to yawn she said laughing. " I'm gonna sleep too." She said plopping next to Midnight. She soon fell asleep.

{Evening}

Midnight woke up. Golden, orange and pink light streamed through the mist. It created an enchanting feeling. Midnight stood and stretched his limbs. He heard a rustling and turned his head to see. A moth cocoon was breaking open. He smiled.

Jasmine was still sleeping. She was dreaming about running in an open field with Midnight. Her legs started to move.

Midnight walked closer to the moth cocoon. It was cracked open. He saw a little, wrinkled wing perk out of the case. It was a beautiful sight.By the time it's whole body made it's way out from the case, it was night. Midnight looked around. Lunar flowers opened their buds, and lunar moths glided through the air. Fireflies flashed their lights. It was a colorful and bright night. "Hey, Jasmine." he whispered.

"Yeah?" Jasmine asked as she got up. " What is it?" She asked, now standing by Midnight.

"look around you." he said. He smiled as a lunar moth glided past his nose.

Jasmine's head picked up as she looked around. " Wow!This is beautiful!" Jasmine said in awe. "I love the flowers and the moths are so cute!" She said with a smile.

Midnight laughed. "It's only for tonight too. That's why you are lucky to have your birthday today. I've been counting the days." he said. the moths started to mate. He looked around as fireflies rose up. they danced through the night. "Beautiful." he whispered in awe.

Jasmine smiled. " Yep, so lucky!" She said to him happily. Jasmine stood very still. A lunar moth landed on her snout. "Hey look." Jasmine whispered to Midnight, guesturing him to look.

Midnight looked at Jasmine and smiled. A huge moth landed on his forehead. Then it took off again. "Come into the temple." he said, walking to the door.

" Okey dokey artichokey!" Jasmine said following him. She began to laugh at what she said.

Midnight laughed as well. He pushed open the door. All of a sudden thousands of the moths glided out. Midnight laughed at the sensation. He padded inside. Still hundreds of the moths were floating about the great hall.

Jasmine's eyes widened. " Wow! This is amazing!" She squealed with delight. Jasmine sat down and closed her eyes, feeling the sensation of the moths fluttering by. This is where I belong. Right here by Midnight, going anywhere he goes. She thought.

"Isn't this temple enchanting?" he asked. He looked around. "And it only gets this beautiful on this day." he said. He smiled at Jasmine.

" Yes, it is." Jasmine said with a smile. "Shall we explore some more?" Jasmine asked with a smile.

"We shall." he said. With that he bounded up the steps. He froze once he saw glowing eyes staring at him. An owl hooted. It glided to rest on his shoulder.
