Midnight chuckled, and walked back to the cave. He set them down and grinned. "We should go back soon after we finish." he said, looking to where they had come.

"Ok. Now, tear off the leaves but don't mess up the branch." Jasmine siad. She began to tear off the leaves.

Midnight did as he was told, stripping the leaves off of his branches. He lay his bare branches on the ground.

Jasmine wagged her tail and smiled. "Good. Now, since the branches are super long, break them into 10 pieces each." She said. She started to break it and ended up with 40 long pieces.

Midnight nodded and did as he was told, breaking them like she broke hers. He counted the same number after he was done. He waited patiently. He was a very quick learner. After all, you can't be slow at learning when you're a loner.

Jasmine smile. "Wow, your a quik learner! Now, take ten away from your pile." She said pulling out 10 branches.

Midnight smiled. "Thanks." he said. With that, he pulled out 10 branches, putting them aside, but not to where they would be completely useless. Hey, what if he needed them sooner?

"Ok, now, do you know how to weave?" Jasmine said sitting down.

Midnight tilted his head side to side. "More or less." he said. He had watched many wolf-men weave baskets. He had weaved Jasmine's new necklace for her birthday. He was pretty much set. He licked his lips--like he always did when he was concentrating-- and began to weave.

Jasmine weaved hers too. "You have to do the same with the other 30, 10 each. That will make 4 pannels." She said happily.

"OK." He said. He was very focused on weaving the basket. He had to admit, it was hard to weave with no thumbs. Oh well, he would make the best of it.

Jasmine finished weaving all hers. She waited for Midnight to finish his.

Midnight was almost done with his basket. One more and he was finished. He licked his lips and narrowed his eyes. Then he accidently messed up and growled. He fixed his mistake and went with the work.

Finally, Midnight finished the basket. He sighed and then smiled.

Jasmine smiled. "Great work! Now, we have to put on the opening pannel and handle. We have to go get 3 more branches. It will be easy." She said happily.

Midnight smiled, and walked back outside. "Well let's go." he said. He had been relieved when he had finished, but now discovering they weren't finished was exhausting. Oh well, he would do it with a happy face.

Jasmine followed Midnight. When they got to the tree she smiled. "Ok, grab 3 branches and this will be the last time we need them." She said happily.

Midnight nodded and grabbed three branches off the tree. Then he became confused. How would a wood carver teach weaving? He thought. He shrugged off the question and waited for Jasmine.

Jasmine ran and grabbed 3 branches from the tree and took of back to the cave. When she got there she sat down and waited for Midnight.

Midnight was soon in the cave. "OK," He said. He looked at the branches then back at Jasmine. "What now."

"Ok, now strip the sticks of their leaves and break one into 10 pieces." Jasmine said still happy. She began to strip them and break a stick int 10 pieces.

Midnight did the same. This obviously brought joy to her. So, he would try his best to be happy, about it.

Jasmine finished. "Now you have to weave it of course." She said concentrating.
