A cold dark storm on an old beach

Blake sat there as waves pounded the shore. Distant lightning lit up the sky and the dark waves on the horizon. He watched as white crests folded as the water crashed onto an object. Spray blew in his face. Blake did nothing, he just listened to the sounds of the storm. Thunder boomed, startling him. Blake got back on his balance, just to be hit by a huge wave. He slowly got up and climbed even higher than he already was.

As the heavy paw steps faded away, Skysong crawled out from under a decomposing log. She sat in the fields above the cliff , washing herself. Spotting a injured doe, she slunk through the bushes, not making a sound. When Skysong was close enough, she ran at it. She jumped knocking it over and gave it the killing bite. After she ate, she walked to her den, made of mostly rock. Supposedly, a large river hollowed it out many generations ago.
She sat looking at the moon for many minutes, when she heard another wolf pull itself onto the cliff.
