The green grass wolf pack

She grabs a small rabbit, " Thanks. " She shakes her rugged pelt exposing her skeleton, she begins to eat it then stops when she eats half.

Ice looked at her. "You ok?"

The pup nodded " Yes, thank you for the rabbit. I just wish Hawk was here.... He was my best friend... "

"Do you think we could find him? Or is he...."

The pup whimpers, " Before I came to the forest, I lived in the mountains. Me and Hawk decided to go see what was beyond the territory... And we got to a frozen river thing... He walked over and he... he... he drowned... So I ran and jumped across by some small rocks... And I met you. I'm so happy I found someone after not seeing anyone for about 4 months. " She sits up

ice curled her tail around swift. "I'm sorry."

She sighed " It doesn't matter though... I think he and I were the last Pack of Freezing Mountain decendents... " Swift cuddled with the tail

ice layed down by the pup and curled around her.

Swift began to cry a little, feeling homesick some

nuzzles "It's ok..."

" I know... "

"Go to sleep, you seem tired." closes eyes and starts to sleep

" Okay. " falls asleep

She gets up and climbs into a tree

wakes up and goes outside, seeing pup in tree "Good morning."

Swift jumps down, " Good evening. "

"See anything interesting up there?"

Swift smiles, " I saw the mountains. " her tail wags

"Beautiful, arent they?"

"Yes. I am getting on in age a bit and would love to go up there one day. Maybe when you are a bit older we will go up together. Maybe Blackwolf would come if he came home..." she sighed, missing her mate.

Ice smiled. "What a beautiful idea."

she smiled and scooped the pup onto her back playfully. "I think we may want to eat first." she laughed as she slid back to the ground.
