Kihyah Lives!!

Kih picked up on the sigh after she spoke, " Something wrong?" he asks laying down as he had smelled the rabbit blood knowing the small rodent wouldn't be big enough for the two of them. He could eat two to three rabbits in a single meal so he'd have to find his own meal later.

Susan caught a glimpse of the big guy as he was easiest to spot and then noticed that he was alone with the female. She smiled only prying her eyes away to note that in her journal before she returned to watching the two interact hoping for a rare glimpse of him being interested in her.

"nah. " She looked away and pushed the rabbit towards Kih. " not hungry..." she muttered

"Liar.." Kih nudges her knowing full well something was on her mind, but he didn't push any further then that. Instead he simply took the rabbit offered to him and tore into it. His mind searched for an answer as to why something seemed to bother her, perhaps she was thinking back on the wolf who had hurt her. There were lots of things popping up in his mind as to why but again he didn't wish to pry into her personal life if she didn't wish to share it. His liar was simply him teasing her for not being forth coming, which she had every right to her secrets.

Susan watched as the female gave the big guy the food, she noted this as well as she was almost positive the big guy would have caught his own meal and now the question written boldly in the margin of the book was " Why is the grey wolf not hunting like the others?" she sighs softly again wishing she could just read their minds or communicate with them more then just sitting behind a piece of plexiglass to observe their behaviors and write them down so people could either read them and understand better then she could or ignore her findings all together and write them off as just another fantasy.

Thalia smiled and stretched out, basking in a warm spot of the enclosure.

Kih ate the rabbit, grateful for the food.

Susan watched as the female stretched out and the male ate, they seemed comfortable with each other which was a good thing. She had been worried that the big guy wouldn't adapt back into a pack life this quickly but he seemed to be doing just fine. With his progress going so well, not hunting aside she may have to give him up to the wild sooner then she'd like but with him not hunting his own food they (meaning the place she works for) would have to wait and see.

Thalia got up and pawed at the glass wall of the enclosure.

Kihyah watched as she moved away, as she got farther her figure turned into nothing but a shadowy blob that he couldn't make out but knew was her because he hadn't taken his eyes off her. He couldn't make out what she was up to so instead of worrying about it he went to eating the rabbit. His ears however picked up on the scratching her toe nails made against glass of the enclosure and he figured she was trying to get out. He wondered why she wanted to leave so bad, this place was great to him. He could live here forever, there was plenty to eat and fresh air plus they were safe from predators as far as he could tell.

Susan watched from the window high above them as the female walked over to the glass of the enclosure where her lab was. The fae began to paw at it and she sighed, those wolves were wild and more so it seemed then the big guy himself who seemed perfectly content in there now that he had settled in. She thought to herself that she might just have to free the female and the male that had come before her before she let the big guy go but with them bonding as they were the longer she waited the harder it would be for the big guy to handle.

Thalia walked back and found a baby deer grazing near her. She pounced and after it was dead she ate it, then reserved a bit for kihyah.

Kih finished his rabbit and was headed back towards where they had left the others when he saw the weird kid up. He made a detour and decided perhaps a better route was going after Thalia after all. He was just going to give her some alone time as she seemed to like her space but the kid on the ground meant for the brute to go a separate path today.

Susan watched the female wolf, then sighs softly to herself before she was scared out of her chair. " Careful or they'll suck you right in."
" Huh?" asks Susan looking up to a lean, geeky looking kid more then 'man'
" The wolves..." he explains as he helps her onto her feet and pick up her papers.
" Oh right...right! The wolves!" Susan turns quickly only to find she had missed another hunt, however she hadn't missed the big guys dance moves that she giggled into her hand over.
" Huh...what's that big one doing?"
God that was the second time that kid had almost had given her a heart attack today, but then she realized she had someone who had just opened the door to something they may or may not want to be able to shut back up once they realize what they had done.
" Well see.."
" Wait! There's a little girl in there!!"
The boy now practically had her hanging by her strap of her binoculars, she ripped them back and cleared her throat. " If you would have let me finished I was going to say that part of it...sheesh, anyways big guy doesn't like her and I think we just got to see him doing his best not to get caught by the little girl." Susan was all smiles now and writing feverishly in her book.
" A wolf scared of a little girl??" the boy asked as he peered over her shoulder, one in which he was so close she could feel his hot breath on her.
" Yes well he's not any ordinary wolf."
" Well clearly." the boy mentions the wolf, indicating its obvious size compared to a normal wolf.
" Well there's that too but I rescued him from hunters and he doesn't seem to have any memory of his time before getting here."
" Really?"
The boy sat near her and they got to talking.

Thalia stared and then barked at the new kid.

The silver brute stopped confused, he turns around to see if she was barking at him since it appeared that way but then he saw over his shoulder the outline of that strange human child and quickened his pace to Thalia. " What's it doing?" he asks having moved around her and now was peeking at the little girl from behind Thalias' left ear.

" You might want to pay attention, there's something going on in there..." said the boyish looking man, Susan found that for looking like he was fresh out of high school he wasn't. Instead he was incredibly brilliant for looking his age but perhaps he kept his look of innocence by his vivid curiosity and imagination, however now she was back to focusing on the wolves. She watched as the female wolf acted a bit like she might harm the human child now, what would have changed though?
" I think we need to get down there." Susan said feeling a little uneasy about the recent turn of events and quickly grabs her notebook and runs for the observation window in her personal lab, that way if things got ugly she had tranquilizers close to her. As soon as she entered she headed for the window and peered into it like that of a hungry kid into a candy store. She brought up her binoculars and quickly focused them to watch what was going to happen next.
" Perhaps the female is pregnant?" the boyish looking man said from behind her, this time it didn't scare her instead it probably would have given her a startle if he hadn't followed and he did make a good point. Why didn't she think to have the blood work check for that, the female could have a mate perhaps more it would certainly explain the big guy being so close to her.
" Can you do me a favor? Run to the blood lab and have Jeff, specifically ask for Jeff to run over the female wolf test subjects blood work for any signs of being pregnant."
She only heard his answer come in the form of the door to her lab clicking softly shut behind him, she smiles softly as she watched happy to have made a common interest friend.

" I dunno." Thalia licked him "Don't you worry, go to sleep."

The silver brute did the best he could to keep out of the way of the wolf kid, anytime it got to close for comfort he would begin to growl at it. He however didn't put up a fuss when Thalia decided to spend time with the human child, she was not his mate and to open his mouth about it wasn't really his place. So as the wolf kid had slept with Thalia he had taken to roaming the enclosure, an exploration of sorts so he could better familiarize himself with it something instinctual told him it was the right thing to do only when he tripped in the hole that the wolf kid made did he get side tracked. He grumps as he climbs out of the hole, " Dang human...learn to clean up after yourself." he yells more to himself then to anyone in particular. He huffs as he then slinks over to the observation window to peer into it hoping he might catch a glimpse of his favorite human Susan as everyone else seemed too busy with their own things to deal with him at the moment.

Susan was watching as the strange goings on continued, but she was soon happy to see the child and the female wolf back on good terms. She laughed however as "the big guy" did his best to out step her, he was obviously not happy she was there but it was interesting to see that he looked to be taking his cues from the fae. Whenever it seemed like he might just snap and go after the human child, he glanced towards her then calmed down. Susan smiled softly, " Come on big guy and make your move already. The girl isn't going to wait around forever...of course if she's pregnant well then you're just tough out of luck big guy." She yawns lightly stretching as the three separated to do their own thing. She wrote a few notes, fixed a few others but she was distracted and wanting to know the results of the blood work more then pay attention to the wolves at this particular moment and it wasn't until the silver brute came over to the window to look at her did she then begin to scribble feverishly into her notebook. Was he really looking at her? " What is it big guy? Hmmm?" she asks kneeling beside the window and resting a hand on the window pane.

Wolf kid dropped her kill and dug a bbig hole for the big male,then she tried to get out the way she came in but did not succeed. She whimpered and pawed at the door. She curled up like a pup,still whimpering.

Thalia sat by WK. "aww. " She licked her gently.

WK yipped while she nipped at the door/wall she tryed to get out while doing so. She wanted to explore the other room,and she needed to get out of this room to explore.
wendy knocked on the door loudly. Hearing nothing but the familiar yips she talked threw the door. "Hello? Im looking for a girl, and i need her so i can rest. She acts like a wolf and -". If she didnt get the girl, the scientists wouldnt pay her. It wasnt her fault she didnt hunt wolves-let alone girls who act like wolves. "I-is every thing alright in there?"she stammered. She hadnt stopped trying to catch wolf kid, and she wasnt giveing this person the key to hundreds of dollers. She stopped talking and knocked on the door more. She knew ledgend was on the other side.(other humans called wolf kid 'ledgend' or 'the kid wolf'.)
