Kihyah Lives!!

Paragon turned to Susan and whined. he pawed crazily at Susan, begging her to open the door. he glanced at her colleagues and stopped to stare at them curiously. Why were they not running in fright as they usually did? Ignoring that, he turned back to the door and cocked his head at it, confused. why didn't it open? he sighed. The humans were so confusing.

Thalia whined, oblivious of the two security guards creeping behind her with a grasper. one guard tackled her and the other pushed the loop of the grasper over her head and hauled her away from the first guard. Thalia emitted a sound like a high pitched half-scream-half-howl and thrashed furiously, lunging at them with her teeth. In a state of total panic, she growled and started trying to attack anything in sight. One of the guards yelled, "Backup! we need some help here! Someone, I don't care who, there's a wolf, so hurry up and get your butts out here and sedate it!! quickly!"

Paragon heard the scream, muffled by the metal door and howled, desperately trying to help his sister. he ripped at Susan's jeans and looked at her pleadingly. he was just calming down to work out a plan when the security guard's yell startled him even more and he started barking in response.

As Thalia thrashed around, the loop of the grasper snagged on to some barbed wire some idiot had carelessly left lying around, breaking the loop. Now free, Thalia lunged at the screaming guards, pinning them down.

Thalia felt the prick on her rump and stopped, feeling drowsy. she collapsed, closing her eyes as she blacked out.

Paragon stopped short when he saw Thalia get put to sleep. he howled, then realised she was only sleeping and attempted to drag her back into the lab beside Kihyah.

Thalia woke drowsily, the black fog slowly lifting. She snapped awake with a growl.

Paragon slowly roused and yawned when he heard a growl beside him. He turned and when he saw Thalia, he turned to her and launched into a speedy explanation of the recent events.

Kihyah began to wake as well and upon hearing the foreign growl coming from somewhere near him he rose to his paw pads and bolted for the nearest corner. Not knowing where he was scared him even more, so he whimpered with his tail between his legs and his eyes so wide one could see the whites of them as he took in his surroundings. Paragon was there and he was talking to some strange new wolf he had never met before, the two seemed to know one another but with everything that had just happened he was attempting to find a way out and back to the human female that had comforted him before when he had come out of that drug induced haze but there was no sign of her.

Susan was too caught up in her papers to notice the three wolves waking up, she had gotten to writing everything she remembered about the previous event down in gross detail so that when she had time to study them later she could hopefully deduce what exactly HAD happened rather then a humans perspective on the strange events.

Thalia nodded and licked Paragon's muzzle, then walked over to Kih and sniffed noses with him in greeting.

paragon walked to the edge of the enclosure and checked it out. When he found that the wall was unbreakable, he barked for Susan.

Kihyah allowed himself to be sniffed and in turn began to give her a sniff to, she smelled a little like Paragon and wondered how they knew one another but didn't voice his question as he was still a bit unsure of himself. The female wolf seemed nice enough though as she wasn't trying to make him submit or anything so he slowly allowed his tail to come out from between his legs the more comfortable he became with her.

Susan yawned and then heard a bark which nearly toppled her over as she had been reclining in the four legged chair. She regained her balance and picked up a clipboard and pen to make her way over to the large habitat that housed the three wolves. Once there she knelt down to Paragons level, " What?" she asked with a smile happy to have now not only one wolf but three two examine of course there were others on the lot but they were more wild then these seemed to be and she felt special, as though they had picked her. She knew that this was just hopeful thinking but still wolves were her passion ever since she had met the big guy and it dawned on her that she would have to give them names if she planned on keeping them here for her notes as she hated test subject 1 it sounded so cold and almost sinister to call them that. She watched Paragon to see if he wanted something or if he was just unhappy about being in the confined area, she was sure it was disturbing to be in such a place after one had roamed free their entire life up until this point.

Paragon whined and pawed at the enclosure.

Thalia walked up to Paragon and did the same.

Paragon turned and barked at Kihyah, then walked up to him.

Susan sighed as she watched the two paw at the enclosure, she hated having to keep them locked up in the thing but at least it was big enough for the three of them to live comfortably there for at least a week or however long it might take the big guy to recover from his previous injury and to make sure he was socializing well which he was much more shy then she recalled. She wasn't sure if that was because he had lost his entire family to hunters or what yet as she hadn't done a full work up on him yet. " Sorry guys you have to stay in there for awhile but don't worry because you're in there I can let you outside to hunt now in a bigger enclosure, you should hardly know the difference from having a territory...at least that's the point of it...would you like to go out then?" she said before she moved to push a button, it slide open the door that would then lead them through a caged hallway and into the enclosure she spoke of which held some deer and rabbits so they could hunt naturally. She was rather excited to watch them hunt if they planned on doing so.

Kihyah tilted his head towards Paragon, but he was also kind of looking past him towards the female. His mind wandering a little about the curious about her, but he made sure he wasn't caught by her staring before he trotted over to the glass to see what they were looking at and he saw the female human standing there then he heard a buzzing sound behind them then the whoosh of that sliding door. He jumped forward into the glass and whimpered turning around to see what had happened behind him, however all he saw was a new opening. " Hey maybe we can get out that way." he says in an almost whisper as if any loud noise might call forth whatever had made that buzzing noise.

Thalia shook her head. "nope, i seen one of these things before. they lead into a territory with food. Food... food... Food!" Thalia and Paragon raced into the enclosure. The two spread out a little, working as a team like they always did. they spotted a deer and Thalia circled it while Paragon charged, crippling it from the back and front. Thalia broke its legs and Paragon ripped at its neck, then both dropped and let it bleed to death, both of them panting heavily.

Kihyah didn't follow the two, he turned to look at Susan as if to ask her ' why'd you have to put me in here?' Then he whimpered softly not liking the glass between them he pawed at it. He seemed to better relate to the humans then these wolves as they were willing to run head long into what was the unknown to him where as the humans slowly coaxed themselves and him into doing things. But with a few reassuring words from the human called Susan he slowly crept to the opening to sniff at it and check out what it was for before he too would follow them to then look around; needing to take in his surroundings. The sights and smells were a bit overwhelming, as if that opening had re-birthed him into the strange new world and he would have to take his time.

Susan had smiled when she watched the other two bolt for the door, but the big guy was slow to follow and when he looked at her with those big grey eyes of his her heart melted. " Aw come on big guy, it won't be so bad. Why don't you just give it a try?" there she went speaking to him again as if he understood anything she said to him but after a little bit he did start to move forward, it was so interesting to see him start off that she grabbed up her pencil and journal to then quickly race out to where the observation windows were on the third floor which gave her a full view of the enclosure. Upon seeing the two having already brought down a deer she was amazed at how quickly they were adapting to their new environment, however when she looked back to the big guy she frowned a little seeing that he was not taking to it as quickly as the other two and she made a heavy notation in her book about the differences between them all.

Thalia barked at Kihyah to join them

Paragon grinned and howled.

Thalia joined him.

WK bonked her head on the door,she had done tis for a while looking for the wolves she heard.the door opened slightly and she slipped in.she smelled deer so she quickly found a way into the encloser and fond wolves eating a deer"may i join in?"she asked in the only language she knew,the wolf language.

Paragon and thalia turned so fast they bumped each other, then Thalia growled. "what's a human doing in here?"

"Human?what human?is ther a hunter behind me?"WK asked the wolves.

Thalia smiled. a human talking wolf. was her day going to get any stranger?

Paragon growled. "your the human. get out. "

Thalia nudged paragon and circled wolf kid. "don't take what the big fat sneery monster's saying to heart, okay? "

"I know im not a human,im a wolf.my dad roku would say so,and hes a wolf to."WK said,seriosly."Who are you?"she asked.

Paragon sighed. "you're a human. you don't have wolf fur, you have human skin. you don't have a muzzle, or fangs, or paws. you don't have a tail."

Thalia scowled at paragon and smiled at wolf kid.

Wolf kid grabed a handful of meat from the deer and ate it,and curled up and fell asleep,like a wolf pup would."meanie"she whispered before she fell asleep.

Paragon huffed.

Thalia curled up next to wolf Kid "aww... paragon!"

"what? it was a fact..." paragon whined.

[Yeah it's okay but just don't be surprised when the humans take you out cause this is a facility that handles wolves and seeing you in the enclosure would make them take you out due to safety issues and insurance policies so...yeah.]

Susan was closely monitoring the big guy, the female seemed to be calling him over but he was still hesitant of the new surroundings and started to make his way over when some strange looking kid ran into the enclosure. " How in the...SECURITY!!" she yelled running for the nearest security guard she had remembered last seeing needing to get the child out of the place before anything bad happened. She wasn't sure any of them were ready for THAT not with the day they had with getting tranquilized and everything. She hadn't even bothered to gauge any of their reactions before running off.

Kihyah was slowly making his way towards Thalia and Paragon when all of a sudden with the worst kind of stealth anyone could have a dirty looking human banged through the enclosure. The ruckus sent the poor brute hurtling back through the opening so fast he couldn't get out of there quick enough it seemed. His tail rightfully planted squarely up between hips to indicate his submission as he huddled near the door that led out to the lab and whimpered so pathetically he hoped it would urge them to let him out again. It wasn't long though before he heard the door click to unlock and he moved away from it a little to wait for Susan to come get him out.
