Alone.

Kihyah nods, " Of course I will. It's not like you're too heavy with pups yet to do such a thing physically, plus I'll be the one to distract the brute...unless you think you shouldn't. I mean how many times have we hunted and not a hoof laid upon us?" he smiles wide, they were excellent hunters together. " You were playing just last night in a field and nothing happened to you...no sense bottling yourself up quite yet, not like you have a large target yet." he laughs softly before giving her maw a few loving licks.

Mystery chuckles lightly, "True, we havent ever gotten hurt while hunting. Just didnt know if you would want me to cause of how I was feeling." She tells him, nuzzling him gently before sitting up slowly to see if her nausea had finally passed and when she only had a tiny twinge of discomfort that didnt bother her much she licked happily at her mates auds. "Oh, and thank you for commenting on how i'll be fat soon very nice of you." She laughs, not really caring that she was going to be heavy with the pups just giving him a hard time.

Kihyah smiles and laughs, " Yes..." he says softly getting to his pads, " Well we're not going hunting until a bit later. This morning we'll snack off the fish in the pool." he tells her trotting over to look down at the brilliant fish that swam around in circles. " At least until later when we'll get after an Elk. I think by then your nausea will have fully passed." his silver eyes tracing the paths of the fish as they swam about just a little ways out from him. " By the way, yes...you will be fat and yeah I did point it out...get over it." he teased right back at her.

Mystery gasps sarcasticly as she rises slowly to her pads and her stomach turned ever so slightly but she ignored it as she walked over to Kih, talking as she walked. "I feel hurt mister.. Your the one that did this to me so say your sorry." She told him as she sat gently down beside him with a wide grin planted on her maw and she nudged him lightly as she started to watch the fish near her fore pads.

Kihyah moves licking softly at her belly, " No way. I am so not sorry for these little pups. I'm willing to face some belly fat for them to come into the world." he murrs softly at her belly before getting back to fishing for breakfast, " You are feeling better right?" he asks her as he dips his paw in watching the fish scatter inching closer to her. He pulls back, the fish slowly starting to return the tiny ones hurriedly going to check to see if it had been food that had touched down.

Mystery smiles gently as she watches Kih lick at her belly and she leaned down to lick inbetween his auds as he murred to her belly and she smiled softly. "I'm not sorry for them either and I sure dont care about some belly fat while they grow." She tells him with a warm smile as her tassle swayed gently before he asked her his question. "Yeah im feeling fine right now, think its safe to eat a bit." She answers as she watches him tease at the water to make the fish scatter.

Kihyah nods, " Good." he says softly before growing silent as he lay down slowly against the jagged edge to the blue pool that held the fish, quietly waiting not moving the slightest. The rise and fall of his chest the only apparent sign other then his blinking that he was awake. The fish drew closer but not even a squirm came from him as he lay there not even his eyes followed them they starred back into the pitch black of the cave.

Mystery went still and silent for him when he lied down and she lied down also after taking a step or two back and lieing near his tassle as she watched him. Resting her crown on his tassle to closed her orbs and listened for the sounds that would tell her she could move again.

Kihyah lunges into the shallows of the blue pool dipping his maw in with a light splash as his maw comes down upon a fish it splashes harder fighting to get away from him as he flips it out onto the rock surface of the cave his tail wagging proudly behind him. " Your turn." he smiles softly, " Unless it's too much right now, I can catch us breakfast no problem there." he says trotting out of the water to shake off lightly feeling a little chill run down his spine.

Mystery flicks her auds and lifts her crown as she felt his tail slip out from under her and she watched as he wrestled lightly with the fish before he threw it up onto the cave floor and she watched it flail. Looking back over at Kih as he told her it was her turn she looked over at the cold water and she shivered lightly, her stomach turning lightly from the movement. She looks back over to Kih. "Would you?"

Kihyah smiles wide, " Consider that fish the first of your meal." he says before trotting over to a different section of the pool. He drops down before reaching the edge of the water to slowly slide his body like a snake across the smooth stone floor to stop right at the edge, he stare's down at the cluster of fish before him. Looking for the best catch, one that was big enough for her appetite and was a sure fire kill if and when he'd take it. Watching their slow steady movements for a moment before rising slightly on his paws his talons try grasping at the stone for extra leverage before he made his leap, this time diving in and disappearing for a moment under the water. When he surfaces a dead fish is in maw and there's a grin upon his lips. Looking somewhat like a big drowned rat as he swam he wasn't exactly the most attractive looking thing when he crawled up out of the water, dragging it over. But when he set that fish down in front of her he stood tall and proud in front of her dripping wet with a warm smile upon his face. It was much larger then the first one being about half of his size with a big bold stripe of black on it's back and a gold gleam to the rest of it's scales. He walks off out of the cave to shake off his pelt of the extra water not wanting to get her wet before he'd sit down looking at the sun as he licked at his fur trying to dry some of it before going back in to eat with her.

Mystery slinks slowly over to the first fish he had caught, sliding it closer to herself with her pads before she sniffed it lightly to see the reaction it had on her stomach. Her stomach didnt complain much at the smell but as she started to dig into the fish her stomach retaliated slightly, not exactly loving what she was eating. Ignoring her stomach for now she picked at the fish, certain smells and tastes had made her stomach turn and she left those pieces. Soon enough she looked up as she saw Kih drop a huge fish infront of her and she looked up at him with a thanking smile before he went out to dry off. Scooting closer to the large fish she started to eat at it and her stomach accepted this one better as a gentle murr escaped her throat.

Kihyah pads lightly back into the cavern to make his way back over to his mate, he laid down across from her and began eating from the large fish making his own place to eat by stripping the scales first before sinking his ivories into the tender white flesh. A murr escaping him as while listening to hers it was obvious he had done an excellent job and his tail started to swish over the rocks as his heart picked up it's soft pace feeling a light warmth come from inside of him. He smiles continuing to eat the meal with pride and satisfaction, careful of any of the bones as he ate around them his left fore comes up to lay across the fish as he rips a part clean of the raw fish meat just to gooble it down. " Tonight if you're up for it we'll hunt down a big Elk deer." he tells her between bites, knowing a perfect place to catch such a thing between the two of them.

"Mmmkay.." Mystery mumbles to her mate as she continued to make her way into the fish, starting to pick at it after a little while as she had done the smaller fish. Moving around parts that made her nose wrinkle and her stomach cringe but murrs still rolled out from her throat as she filled her belly. Her tassle swaying happily she pulled her crown out of the fish carcass, still a lot of flesh on it but she didnt want to risk eating a whole bunch then getting sick all of a sudden. Licking her chops she stood gently to make her way over to lie beside Kih, grooming what she could of her maw before lieing her crown on Kih's back with a content sigh.

Kihyah's eating continues when she rose to leave the fish, he looked down seeing she had ate quite a good portion he smiles softly. He hesitates in while in mid chew when he felt her crown lay softly upon his back and heard her sigh in content, it made him feel as if he could do anything knowing he had faced challenge after challenge head on and with her by his side there was no stopping him because where ever he stumbled she was right there to help pick him up. He finishes after just a few more pieces of fillet, licking his chin and moving softly to turn back towards her seeing a bit more fish on her muzzle he chuckles softly and cleans it completely for her.

Mystery listens to him continue to eat as she closed her eyes, completly relaxed as she lied there beside him. Feeling the licks to her maw then a gentle murr rises out from her throat and she licks Kih's nose gently in thanks to him as her cleaned the fish off of her. She soon brought her crown up, grooming the fish off of his pallette now also with her pink ribbon of a tongue.

Kihyah murrs softly to her appreciative of the cleaning he was receiving, with his fores he pushes the fish away from himself a little more. When she finishes with his maw he rises to his pads, moving swiftly out of the caves opening into the softening light as the sun was now in the sky ready for a brand new day. He lays down on the ledge of the rock face, looking down at the river below yawning softly as the fish started to digest in his belly causing him to want a wolf nap already but he had wanted it out in the warm sun of the day. He shuts his eyes softly falling asleep.

Mystery had followed her mate out of the den, murring gently when the sun hit her inky black pelt and her fur warmed quickly in the light. Watching as Kih lied down on the rock face she quickly curled up beside him, having her belly full and being warm in the sun now sleep slowly pulled her under. She lied her crown gently on Kih's stomach, snuggling into him with a light yawn as she feel into a light sleep beside her Kih.

Kihyah wakes softly after a five minute power nap, feeling refreshed as his eyes blinked open softly as his neck raised lightly off the rock face to look around. Ears twitching lightly in the wind, his black nose twitching lightly as it picked up all the scents off the air. His maw parting in a yawn, stretching his lips back revealing his sharp canines as his long tongue curls at the tip as it escapes past his front bottom teeth. His silver orbs squeezing shut as it over takes him and a soft whine escapes him before it releases him. His lips coming back down around to encase his mouth as he pulled his tongue back in blinking heavily before shaking his nape out gently. He rose to his pads, surveying the land before turning to look back to his other half. " Going to be up for the hunt tonight? I can manage an injured fawn if you can't make it, that will last us at least three days...it all depends on where the herd is. I'll have to find them but they won't be hard to find, I've tracked them before so I know where to look now." he smiles softly his tail slowly starting to wag as he imagined how thrilling it would be to take down an Elk with her their very first one here in Yellowstone. " It'll be quite a trip, might not be back until sunrise." he informs her, the herd having moved further south this time of year getting ready for the winter to set in as fall was closely at hand.

Mystery wakes when she feels Kih move beside her and her orbs flutter open to watch as he yawned. Smiling gently before she stretched out her fores with a gentle yawn, rolling over onto her back slowly once she was done stretching watching upside down as Kih rose to his pads and her folded her fores close into her chest, tassle swaying happily as she didnt feel sick the least bit sick at the moment. Once he was done talking she rolled back over onto her belly, stretching out her hinds this time as she got to her peds before padding over to her mates side. "I'm good to go hunting, not feeling sick at all for the moment so I think ill be good till tomorrow morning at least." She tells him, licking his nose lovingly a few times before rubbing her muzzle lightly along his.

Kihyah smiles wide, " Good then we'll head out now." he says padding down the cliff embankment softly, looking back at her occasionally to make sure she was following him. When he reached the bottom to step on solid ground he trots over to a small path in the forest to the south east. He stops waiting for his mate to take up her spot at his side, having her close gave him the knowledge that she was there with him unharmed and not needing his constant attention since he knew if she left his side to stop and see what was wrong.

Mystery smiled and followed close behind him as Kih started off and they walked down the cliff embankment, placing her pads down carefully so she wouldbt slip and also watching where Kih placed his own pads. It didnt take her long once she has on solid ground to find her place at her mates flank, nibbling at his hackles once she was beside him to tell him she was ready as they stood on the little path.

Kihyah heads forward down the small hunting trail, moving swiftly through the trees causing branches and leaves even some undergrowth to brush into his soft silver pelt. The trail winding its way southward seemed to narrow the further they went, to their left the rush of the rivers cool water could be heard and to the right more sounds of the forest. The sound of a bear echoing through the trees it's unhappiness with some foreign creature near it's cubs or den clear in it's tone. The trail turning and some what paralleling the river as they continued their trek, a nearby chipmunk twitches it's red tail before bounding off into a tree hollow chirping off at the two of them as they walked past. Kihyah could smell the herd, they were quite a few miles off so they had some time before they would reach them. He figured shortly after nightfall they would reach them.

Mystery easily kept up with her mate as they trekked through the forest, her auds twitching lightly as they listened to the forest around her. When she heard the echos from a irritated bear in the distance her crown turned to face the direction the noise was coming from, auds perked gently forward as her tassle flicked lightly. She turned her crown forward again to see that the path was much more narrow now as she was rubbing up against some brush every now and then. Hearing the chipmunk that they had startled she looks over at it with a gentle smile before turning back to Kih and nibbling lightly at his hackles.

Kihyah chuckled softly, " How many curse words do you think he's saying in chipmunk right now?" he asks her continuing his trek forward, he dare not look back with the turns he had to make now to void things in their path, he stops suddenly looking down almost right next to his paw held the large imprint of an elk hoof. He lifted his head taking in a deep breath through his nose closing his eyes momentarily before they opened before turning south towards the river, he turns to her planting his haunches to give her a gentle lick to the muzzle. " I'm pretty sure we need to cross the river up ahead." he says nodding towards the south as he told her the plans, " After that there's a large hill we'll have to climb over before coming across an open plain, from the top of that hill we should be able to spot them off in the distance."
