Alone.

"Alright.." She breathed as she exhaled a light sigh, closing her orbs and snuggling back into him slightly as she wanted to be closer. She focused on her breathing like he had said, repeating the three words in her head. In and out.. In and out.. In and out.. She soon didnt need to focus on her breathing as Kih groomed her, the gentle loving licks to her pelt calming her and she relaxed into him with another sigh but a content one this time as she tucked her peds close to herself. Her stomach still bothering her greatly but she ignored it as she lied there. When s heard Kih's murring she dropped her auds gently, mindlessly murring very softly back to him as she was half asleep now beside him.

Kihyah continues is soft grooming moving from her crown to her neck to gently push down the fur there, it was more now then just to soothe her. He cleaned her to take care of her, licking down the fur and removing any small debris like tiny pebbles of dirt or rock, small twigs, anything a wolf might get stuck in their fur from daily routines. He took care in every curve of her body to make sure that she was cleaned perfectly, taking pride in his work as he went his murring still heavy in his chest as he went about it. He smiles thinking about how she relied on him and how he did her, they were perfect together he knew this not only from what he felt in his heart but from what other wolves had told him. Craving to have what they had, always commenting on how great they were for each other and that they wished one day to have a love like theirs. His thoughts were always on her, it didn't matter what he was thinking of somehow she was always apart of them. Whether he thought about hunting...to finding their paradise here in Yellowstone, everything he did it was for her...for them. His murring grows even deeper in his chest as he thought on it and he continues to clean her beautiful ebony pelt making it practically glow with it's new sheen.

Mystery's murring grew slightly louder as her mate continued to groom her, feeling his licks move down her neck and she stretched out her fores gently before tucking them back close to her chest. She wanted so badly to have sleep drag her under so the morning sickness would stop it's threatening.. atleast for a little while. She stayed awake though, her auds twitching whenever her stomach would turn for no reason and her muscles would tense slightly as she waited for the feeling to fade before relaxing back into Kih's loving grooming. She lifted a fore and rolled slightly onto her back when he ran out of places to groom with her lieing on her side, exposing her belly to him so he could groom her there.

Kihyah pulled his head back from her when she rolled onto her back to expose the soft fur on her belly, he very carefully licks at the tufts of fur taking long slow strokes of his tongue over her stomach so as not to upset it more. As curious as he was to what was going on inside of her with pups inside of her he stops for a moment to turn and press his face lightly against her stomach to listen, he had no knowledge of babies or anything like that other then what he had seen from her pack. He knew their tummies got huge and she would get milk in when she started to get much bigger then she was now, other then that the process that went on inside of her was foreign to him. Confused, all he could hear was the sounds of her upset stomach as it gurbled. He raises a brow before turning and going back to his gentle cleaning, he took even more care with her belly then he had with any other part for it held their precious unborn pups inside and he wanted to make sure they knew their daddy was doing his best to take care of their mommy and them.

Mystery sighs contently when her mate starts to lick at her belly, the gentle motion of his tongue gliding over the tufts of fur on her stomach lightly soothing the constant sickness she was feeling at the moment. She started to fall asleep again, her breathing softening and her heartbeat slowing slightly as she relaxed but when she felt Kih's head pressed up against her belly she opened her orbs gently and smiled when she saw what he was doing. Once he started to groom at her pelt again she asks him, "Hear anything yet babe..?" her tassle swaying just lightly along the cave floor.

Kihyah brings his head up but his tongue doesn't stop whipping out for a bit until finally it catches up with him and stops, he turns to her and smiles softly at her question a little shy about being caught listening in to the pups.
" No, not yet. All I could hear was your stomach turning and groaning. But maybe its just too early yet, you're not looking any bigger yet so maybe they are still way too tiny yet to be heard. I mean something that small has to be really quiet right?" he says shrugging his shoulders to say he himself wasn't sure, " I knew little of pups until I met your family and even then I only learned from what I saw. I remember counting the days and nights once to see how long it took for one of the females to give birth and it was a very long time. We're still at the very beginning." he says before turning to lick at her soft belly fur again, not taking long there before moving up to her chest.

Mystery smiles as her Kih talks, nodding lightly to him once he was done and had started to groom her again. "Yeah it probably is to early to hear a whole lot of anything. Even more so with my stomach the way it is right now.. All I feel is it turning and groaning. We might be able to hear faint heartbeats soon enough though when im feeling ok." She tells him, a warm smile spreading across her maw as she looked over at him, wanting to move to lick at his cheek but not wanting to risk getting another morning sickness attack.

Kihyahs head comes up slightly to look at her, " Really?" he asks a grin quickly on his face as his tail starts to wag vigorously behind him as though it were in a race. He was excited to hear such and thing, it was quite obvious he was with his tail going a mile a minute behind him and a soft murring rising in his chest as he merrily went about his grooming of his lover. Then a thought dawned on him as he was cleaning up her neck underneath her maw, licking up all the way to the chin where he'd stop to tilt his crown slightly to the side.
" What's it like having them inside of you? I mean...do you feel any different?" he asks laying his head down lightly upon her chest, questions now springing forth to his mind as he realized she may know a lot more then he did about having pups and what to expect she did of course know that it was morning sickness affecting her, was his line of thinking that she had more information.

Mystery murrs gently to her mate as he licks up her chest and up to her chin and she tilts her head back for him to expose her neck to him. When he finished and tilted her crown as he looked at her she perked her auds toward him, licking his nose once as he talked to her. "I dont know, I guess not other than my stomach being a pain." She smiles gently to him, licking at his nose again and up the bridge of his nose to his forehead.

Kihyah yawns softly there on her chest, a light whine escaping his maw while his jaws came back down to clamp together solidly before he licked his chops a few times. He blinks heavily as the sounds of her breathing and heart beat were softly lulling him into a nap, however he wasn't done with his questions so he forces himself to blink hard a few more times so that he could at least stay awake long enough to ask them and get answers.
" So if they have little heart beats they are alive in there before they come out...so how do they breathe?" he asks a truly puzzling question, then it dawned on him that perhaps it was something like her having to eat for them. One thing he heard repeated a lot was 'I'm eating for two now.' so it did occur to him that it may be the same with breathing as well.

Mystery yawns gently along with her mate, her jaws parting just slightly before coming back together with a tiny click as her enamels touched back together. Touching her nose to his after he was done blinking to keep himself awake and she smiled as she rubbed her nose against his and answered his question. "I do it for them." She tells him, licking his forehead again and lieing her muzzle down on her chest beside his.

Kihyah smiles and nods softly, his tail slowing behind him as his eyes became droopy as he let out another light yawn before saying anything more. " I thought so..." was all he got out before he was out, softly sleeping there on her chest with a soft murr escaping him as his dreams took him far away from there to the place they first met only to watch her walk into his life as he napped.

Mystery licks her mates maw lovingly as she watches him drift off to sleep and she soon lied her crown back down beside his and closed her jades, burying her muzzle in the pelt at his neck warmly as she gave out a content sigh. She moved ever so slightly to snuggle into him, but regreted the move when she felt the all to familiar jab of morning sickness still waiting for her to attempt to move too quickly. Not moving after that she slowly started to drift off with her Kih, images of him flooding her thoughts as sleep pulled her under.

Kihyah wakes softly as his silver moon orbs flicker open, he looks around before stretching out and he whimpers softly feeling his muscles respond with a sharp hot pain from the soreness held in them. He crooks his neck over to look at his injured fore, he finds the ankle swollen looking like he was carrying an orange around the pressure there was incredibly painful now that his brain was fully waking and recognizing all the extremities of his body. He licks softly at it giving out a few whimpers as he did, he was sure he needed to do more to get the swelling down. Scared the skin at his ankle might split to release some of the pressure he slowly gets to his rough paw pads careful not to put any pressure on that fore as he hopped over to the deep blue pool in the back of the cave where he laid down next to it and dipped the hot ankle in and let out a relieved sigh as it was already starting to feel much better. He lays his head down yawning lightly as he kept it there, not intending on leaving that spot any time soon.

Mystery wakes when she feels Kih's crown leave her chest and she rolled, slightly to fast, over onto her side when she didn't have him to leane against. Her stomach turning lightly she sighed softly, closing her jades and curling her tassle around one of her hinds as she waited for the feeling to pass silently. Once the sickness slowly faded she very slowly got up to her hinds, making sure every movement was fluid enough that her stomach wouldnt reject her moving. She made her way over to her Kih, lowering her crown to lick at his hackles before her frame lowered also to lie against the terra beside him and she whined when she saw his swollen ankle.
