Alone.

Kihyah laughs as he watches his lover play with the poor mouse, " I think you may frighten the poor thing to death." he smiles, " Careful you don't scare the crap out of him...literally." he chuckles before scooping another mouse into his mouth and swallowing it down promptly slurping it's tail through his lips on it's way down the long passage to his gut giving a nasty grin of ivories to the pinned mouse as he winked like yeah buddeh you know what's coming next and watches as the thing squirms crazily underneath harder then before. He scoops up another and chews on it a few times listening to the small bones crunch between his teeth before swallowing down the contents of his mouth.

Mystery laughs lightly as Kih comments on her scaring the mouse to death. "Thats the whole point.. It's not as much fun unless they freak out." She tells him as she grins devishly and she watches as he scoops another one of the mice into his maw and swallowed it down before looking over at her mouseh and grinning at it with a wink, she looked down as the little thing was basicly flailing under her pad now. "Oh yeah.. I'M the one whos gonna scare the crap out of it." Chuckles as she picks her little mouse buddy up by the scruff of its tiny neck gently only to throw her crown back to fling the weightless rodent up into the air, watching it flip and flail before it came back down and she caught it effortlessly in her maw. She could feel its stomach against her tongue as its front and back dangled lightly from her maw while she held his torso firmly between her jaws. His heart raced and his chest heaved as he just lied there wide eyed and she ended him quickly, snapping his spine before gulping him down.

Kihyah smiles softly pushing his maw softly into her cheek, " Nicely done...alright I have a game." he smiles rolling to his left side to look at her more solidly, " Scare a mouse to death it's called and I think you can guess what the objective is...who can scare a mouse the quickest to death." he grins wide as his tail starts to wag softly across the ground, eager to see who had the worst bark instead of bite.

Mystery laughs as he tells her his game and her tassle swayed quickly behind her. "Your on.. Any rules in your Scare the Mouse to Death game?" She asks, cagging a little mouse under a jail of talons as it tried to scurry past her befire she would grab its tail and pull it slowly toward her, not scaring it much just keeping it near her.

He chuckles softly, " Only one, you can't actually HARM the mouse in anyway. Any kind of broken bone, wound etc. will disqualify you. Other then that, go for it." he raises a brow getting to his feet and shaking off lightly before watching her curiously to see what her next move would be, could she pull off a quick kill he wondered and if so...could she beat him? His tail fell still as he intently watched her now ready to see something amazing.

"Alright fair enough." Mystery smiles as she watches Kih rise to his pads before she took the tail of the mouse that was between her pads in her teeth as she stood also, suddenly flinging the little critter up as high as she could throw him before taking a step or to forward to catch it quickly in her maw with a wide grin upon her palette as she glaced ocer at Kih. She dropped the mouse to the terra then, watching as it tried to scurry off before she leaped sideways to stand in front of it, lowering her crown to the terta as she bared her enamels and parted her maw in a nasty snarl that ripped from her throat at the mouse that was still stupidly running toward her wide maw. Once it had the brains to it squealed and wheeled to dart away from her as she snapped her jaws just out of reach of its tail but she leaped infront of it again all to easily repeating her snarl and snap but this time grabbing its tail to throw it to the side and pounce toward it, listening as its heart fluttered then thuds to a dead stop.

Kihyah watches her fling the tiny thing up, he thought for sure he had lost but luckily for him the critter had held out and gave her a smile when she grinned at him. His tassel picks up lightly as he watches her drop the thing to the terra, his tail falling still again as he froze watching intently again to see what came next. He watched as she snarled at the thing and it took awhile to register that there was a wolf right in front of it about to eat it producing a light laugh to roll up before cutting short when she missed the mouse's tail by mere fractions of a centimeter. He watched her recover by jumping in front of it to snarl again only to grab it's tail and fling it with her maw just to pounce on the tiny bugger and that was all it's little heart could take before it had a heart attack. He smiles and nods impressed by her work, " Not bad...watch this..." he smiles slyly quirking a brow as his own paw reaches out to stop a mouse dead in it's tracks he lowers himself with a growl instantly directed at the mouse to show it his unhappiness with it biting his paw letting his paw up as a snarl envelopes his maw a look of pure fury directed towards it. It's eyes bug out before doing a one eighty to high tail it out of there but he stops his retreat scooping him up quickly into his maw and rolling his tongue back as if preparing to swallow and he felt the small creature stop squirming about in his mouth. He grins wide and slides it's lifeless body out of his mouth onto the ground softly. His hinds firmly plopping themselves on the grass to wag his tail as he looked at her proudly his chin held slightly higher as he grinned. Oblivious to the fact that the 'dead' mouse was now awake and high tailing it into the nearest hole.

Mystery watches her mate intently once she had lowered her hinds to the terra, tassle curling neatly around her hind. She watches as he growls at the mouse and she smiles when it tried to run, flicking an aud when he scooped it up into his maw and she waited a moent before she watched him spit the body out. Her aud flick lightly, thinking she had been beat but when she saw the little body squirm before it hightailed out of there she laughed softly, looking to her right and catching the slobber coated mouse by the tail. "I think you lost something.." She cackles, rising to her peds to pad over to him and show him the 'dead' mouse.

Kihyah's maw drops and he looks down to where the mouse had just been then up to her maw holding the mouse that was supposed to be dead. His eyes wide examining the thing to make sure she hadn't just tricked him, but no...it was the same mouse. He chuckles lightly and puts a broad grin on his face, " This right here is why I eat things like you." he says to the little critter. He takes the mouse from her with a light growl in his throat not directed towards anyone but himself and he lays his chin on the ground, he opens his jaws mouse unharmed and watches him scurry down into the hole in front of him. " On the other hand he did trick me fair and square, besides there's plenty of other mice and I've obviously proven I can't beat you if I'm tricked by a mouse...of course unless you're willing to play again then you could try to improve your time with another go at it too, that way it's fair." he smiles wagging his tail in excitement wanting to play again with her, happy as well to be with her he gives her an affectionate lick up the right side of her muzzle before pulling back to yip playfully at her.

Mystery laughs lightly as he examines the mouse with wide eyes before taking it from her and letting go unharmed. She listened to him then as he suggested another game before licking up her muzzle and yipping at her playfully. With a little pounce she tackles him, pinning him onto his back before grinning down at him and nuzzling into the fur at his neck. "I would rather play with you than a mouse." She tells him, nibbling playfully at one of his auds as she still had him pinned with the paws on his chest.

Kihyah murrs nuzzling into her neck after being pinned when she started to nuzzle him, when she pulled back and stood on his chest he laughed lightly before rolling his hips to throw her off balance up there on his chest then quickly he pushed up off the ground using his torso and kicking back his hind legs which in turn kicked out her back legs as they swept them out from underneath her. He is brought back down by her weight from his legs sweeping hers out and he gives out an Oof of air before crawling out from under her and getting quickly to his feet dashing off into the field before lowering his entire stomach onto the ground disappearing in the long grasses that made up the field. He commando crawled on his belly to make sure she couldn't have just watched where he had disappeared in the grass to find him, he wanted this to be hard if she wanted to play with him, a wide smile planted on his face as he laid his maw down on his fores to wait and see if she'd find him. Hide and Seek one of his favorite games to play.

Finding herself suddenly sprawled on on the terra after Kih had kicked out her back peds while she had been pinning him she huffs as she watches him run off before grinning to herself. "Alright.. We can play hide and seek." She says low to herself, knowing he couldnt hear her. Rising to her pads she shook out her pelt lightly before gazing around the open field. Her tassle flicked and so did her auds, slowly she walked backwards.. The shadows covered her and she disappeard with them, she shallowed her breathing listening as it went silent. No movement seemed to come from the shadow she was hiding in as she lied her frame against the terra and she watched.. He would take a peek out from under the grass when he didnt hear or smell her anymore.. and she was patient.

Kihyah lost her smell after a short while, he closed his eyes and calmed his breath. His auds listening to the waves of grass blades hitting against one another. He quickly distinguished it between the blades of grass hitting against him, so it was only a matter of finding that sound to locate her. She was out of earshot for now which was good, he could wait for her to come to him now. He left his eyes closed as he continued to listen to the various sounds, understanding what makes certain sounds he could now listen for her knowing exactly WHAT to listen for he wasn't giving up his position now and when it came to patience he had plenty of it at the moment enjoying the sounds of the cool night as he breathed in the crisp air this was the best hide and seek game ever he thought to himself.

Mystery lied there for some time, listening silently with her sensitive radars for auds as they slowly twisted and rotated to the sounds of the night. She had placed herself downwind and a few times her nares twitched as she sniffed lightly, painting a more detailed picture in her mind as to where everything was.. Including Kih. Finally she moved, gracefully and silently she rised to her pads, already nearly out of the long grass she only had to take a few steps before she could move without rustling something. After that it was completly still and quiet in the night as she serched for a place she could get close to Kih without being in the long grasses.

Kihyah got lucky the wind shifting the way it was he caught her smell and he zoned in on her, he knew where she was now but she still had to get through the grass to get to him there was no way for her to sneak up on him. The wind shifted and he crawled slowly almost like an inch worm cruising along a tree leaf he crept making his way slowly. He hoped she would follow since hide and seek was never any fun without the chase to tag the other one for their turn to hide. His heart shifted to steady beating his adrenaline starting to kick up in his blood as his body readied itself to spring up and forward at a moments notice.

Mystery stopped dead in her tracks as she heard rustling in the grass and saw the slight movement to comfirm it. Her auds perked forward she waited for the wind to shift her way again and when it did she grinned to herself, tassle now flicking playfully as she lowered her frame slightly while her orbs locked on what she could see of Kih's pelt and a low rumble in her throat escaped her but she was sure she was the only one wgo could hear it. Suddenly she dashed forward toward him, talons gripping the earth as her auds folded so the wind wouldnt catch them. There was no use in trying to sneek up on him, she was proving her speed to him tonight.

Kihyah heard her rushing him, he lunges forward into a sprint having expected such a tactic from her and forcing her to make this move. He is in the tree's quickly right at the entrance they had used bounding through the low over growth to cover his escape from her, running quickly down into a ravine behind a giant log and next to a rock that was some what near his own pelt color he curls up in a ball covering his face with his tail as he waited for her to find him or surrender. He makes sure to slow his breathing and beating heart by taking in relaxing deep breathes before he was silent once more hoping any running she was doing would cover the sounds to give him enough time to do such a thing.

Mystery picked up her pace when she saw Kih lunge into a sprint and she follwed close behind, almost able to grab his tassle if she tried but when she saw that he was headed for the entrance she slowed slightly. Making it look like she was tired already she panted lightly making sure he could hear her hard breathing before he disappered through the low over growth and she smiled to herself, darting forward suddenly as soon as he was out of sight to slide her crown beneath the brush quickly to watch as he tried to hide himself. Watching him run into a ravine she smiles and goes completly silent, her breathing inaudible and her heart slowed to a shallow beat. She slipped out from under the growth and her pads didnt make any noise as she walked easily over to what looked like a fluffy rock and she lowered her crown once she was there to lick between his auds, her breathing, heartbeat, and swishing tassle all becoming audible at the same time again.

Kihyah's own tail instantly moves from his face to start wagging when he received the lick to his crown, he leans up and licks down the length of both sides of her muzzle. Murring happily in his chest as he squeeze's out from the tight hiding space. " Trying to win is half the fun, getting found is the other half." he smiles wide nuzzling the dark pelt at her neck his eyes closing softly as the murrs in his throat now grew louder. " Your turn to hide love." he smiles softly giving her a gentle push to the neck to give her incentive to get to hiding.

"I have to hide already?" She asks, pushing him gently back before nuzzling into his neck also now with a loving murr to him before she started to lick up his chin, her hinds slowly lowering to the terra as she sat herself close infront of him with a happy whine to be back beside him. "What if I dont want to hide from you?"

Kihyah smiles softly walking slowly to her left as he rubbed against her soft midnight black fur as he made his way behind her to sit behind her, his chest against her back as he nuzzled into her murring heavily eyes closed as his tail swayed softly across the ground. " I would have to say, I love you." he murrs to her before then coming back with, " But why don't you want to play?" A little hint of knowledge as to why she wouldn't want to hide now in that sly tone he had used. The question more of a joke then anything else, he wanted her to stay with him as well enjoying her company after the long romp, just slowing down to take time with her was perfect for him.

"Its not that I dont want to play.. Just that I dont want to play hide and seek.. We could just hide though.. Hide together.. " Mystery tells him as she scoots back into his frame to press herself against him, fitting perfectly in that little spot underneath him as she murred loud and lovingly to him. Her tassle swaying quickly in the little space it had as she licked up his chin again and all over his muzzle as he nuzzled into her pelt while her eyes closed also with another happy whine to him as he was so close again.

Kihyah smiles softly as he listened to her suggestion, " Oh? Where would this hiding occur? Perhaps back at the den or maybe just over where the shadows can hide us." he says still murring to her as he snuggles into her soft small frame that was nice and warm against him. He honestly didn't want to move at all from where he was currently enjoying her tucked into him, but was ready all the same to be led away to a hiding place for the two of them.

"Mmm.. The den's to far away.." She tells him, "Where evers closest would be best.." She finishes, nibbling at his neck now as they sat there pressed up against each other. Her murring continued to grow louder as they continued their affections to each other and she cuddled into him more as she pushed against his muzzle lightly with her own.

Kihyah murrs softly into her ear, " Here's fine..."

Night falls and as the sun is just starting to tip the trees Kihyah pops out of the forest near the den, he sneezes twice shaking his dial as they consumed his neck with the back and forth motion as well before he'd blink and look back towards his mate as he sniffled a little before turning towards the den and sauntering over to it. Quite clear his intentions were to lay up on the ridge and take short wolf naps through out the day to keep himself ready for the nights hunt.
