A Journey Home

Mystery smiles as she listens to her mate, her tassle swaying gently along with his as he put out names. "I dont really have any, ive never been really good with names. I love all yours though." She tells him, tucking her cold paws underneath her frame. "We'll have to narrow it down sometime."

Kihyah laughs lightly, " Oh I just think them up before hand because...well I don't think it's right naming a pup who is still in you. I'd rather name them either as they are born or after, make sure we give them the right names for their personality. I think a name should actually tell you a little about what kind of character a wolf has, I mean I was named like that." he shrugs softly not having even thought that they would name them before they were even born or right as they were born, they wouldn't be able to hear them until they were at least a few weeks old their ears and eyes closed until that time they could start to figure out what names would best suit them then. He opens his maw to voice this to her, " We do have a few weeks until their ears and eyes open to give us time to narrow it down." he explains.

"I know we do babe, I wouldnt want to name them before they were born either and we were both named like that." She tells him, licking his nose once before rubbing her muzzle along his in a loving nuzzle as she murred gently to him. It had seemed like forever since they had just cuddled alone together since everything had happened.

Kihyah murrs happily needing no more words other then, " I love you." that was just followed by heavy murring and affectionate grooming to her neck. Nothing could be more perfect to Kihyah then this moment with his mate, it was why he had wanted her to be his for life. They had a way of sharing moments like this that made him forget of all the stress' and burdens of being an Alpha male, there was none of that out there now just their infinite love for one another that wrapped him in a warm blanket of affection that he was slowly enjoying drowning in at the moment.

Faye awoke after hearing a strange rumbling sound.After she stood up,she realized it was just her hungry stomach.Faye believed the pup would be alright if she went out to hunt for only an hour or two.After Faye had exited the cave all of her senses were alert.Faye decided her best bet was to go to a river or lake.Deer and other animals of prey would hopefully be there.Faye finally made up her mind that she would go to the large creek.It wasn`t too very far from the cave.Faye jogged in the direction of the creek so she could save most of her energy for hunting.She stopped when she heard the water splashing.It was a sign that meant she was very close.The splash was probably a fish jumping

In the distance a lone wolf is walking along the plains, that wolf has his head down and looks rather sad and despirate. Jeaunu had traveled dozens of miles from the mountains ever since his pack went missing, he thought it was because they had abandoned him. He walked day and night just thinking about what he would do now he did not even realize that he had walked through a scent line into another wolf's territory, untill he was already in it. Jeaunu knew the protocol of wolves so he let up a howl to tell the alpha that he was friendly and did not mean any harm. Since he realized that they must already know he was in their territory.

Kihyahs auricle rotated forward as he caught a soft howl carry through his lands, his head perks up as he rises quickly to stand his brute frame solidly on his thick muscular legs. His black nose twitching at the end of his snout trying to catch the scent of this other wolf but it was too far away and the wind wasn't blowing in the right direction for that. He howls back to the foreign wolf to indicate that the trespass would be over looked since it seemed to be an accident. He sits on his hinds before looking down at his mate and barks at her softly before throwing his head back again to howl at the stranger that he was welcome to their lands but not to linger too long or he would be viewed as a territorial threat.

Hearing the howl of the alpha gave Jeaunu some relief knowing that the alpha knew what happened and that he was there. Jeaunu continued to go forward into the territory, still trying to think about where to go next. He kept walking and all the while he caught the scent of another wolf, so he decided to follow the scent futrther since it had been so long since he had seen another like him.

Mystery grumbled softly as she heard the lone wolfs howl and felt her Kih stand up out of her reach. Still grumbling she stretched out her peds on her side, the small bump that was her swelling stomach becoming more apparent again as she lied all stretched out on her side beside her mate. Finding the position comfortable she stayed like that, yawning gently as she felt a bit tired already and she didnt bother to open her orbs back up once the yawn had ceased. Her auds twitced as she listened to her mates howling, breathing softly as she wasnt worried about the loner and just waited for Kih to lie back down beside her.

Kihyah laid back down with his mate to snuggle softly into her ebony velvet pelt it's softness drawing his eyelids shut as he let out a content sigh. Feeling no threat from the wolf he enjoyed the warmth they were sharing as a soft murr rose in his chest to share with her what he felt at that moment for her and the thought of their family. He smiles lightly as his breathing relaxed lightly almost as if he would sleep but was just in a deep calm.

As Jeaunu got closer, the scent became stronger. Not only did he smell the alpha he smelled his mate, so he stopped for a second and let out a howl to show he was comming and was friendly so the alpha would not be spooked and attack him.

Mystery murrs gently to her mate once she felt him lie back down and snuggle into her pelt . Instantly feeling his warmth she rolled slowy onto her other side to face him and curled her peds underneath his belly to lick lovingly at his chin as he lay calmly beside her. She groomed him lightly up his chin and to his cheeks before her cleaning became deeper as she began taking care of his soft silver pelt, cleaning the dirt or other materials that had embeded themselves in his coat. Moving over his auds and down his neck to his shoulders and belly to groom at him there, her orbs shut and a loving murr rolling out from her chest as she cleaned him, ignoring the newcomer completly other thah her aud that flicked toward him now and then.

Kihyah murrs heavily his audits laying down softly as his lover cleaned him with such affection that his tail starts to swoosh softly against both of their hinds. His concha unable to catch the other males howl, he nuzzles softly into dark fur upon her neck when her affections had moved to his belly before he lays down on his side to stretch slightly to expose more of the tufts of fur upon his tummy.

Jeaunu travels further into the brush and comes out the other side to see another feild with 2 wolves laying down in it. One appeared to be the alpha and other other appeared to be his mate. He say that they were cleaning each other, so he debated if he should make himself known or go away and give them privacy.

Mystery squirms uneasily suddenly as she hears the brute come through the brush behind them and a low rumbling growl escaped her throat. Quiet enough that only Kih could hear her growls but her grooming stopped suddenly as she looked a bit bigger now with her derma ruffling above her skin in a silent warning as her crown turned to bare her canines slightly at the male. She wasnt in the mood to deal with more outsiders and was now suddenly on edge as she stared feircly toward the new comer with her audits pinned back against her skull.

Kihyah hears her growls and his optics flick open suddenly, seeing the large male caught him off guard not having heard the previous howling to indicate him approaching he was scared for his mate and he rose to his paw pads quickly and he steps over Mystery. His crown lowers as his lips pull back into a grizzly snarl before snapping down his enamels several times towards the foreign male. " What is your business here...you were to pass through..." his breathing heavy as saliva crept out of his mouth to drip down to the dirt below as a growl issued forth from his larynx.

Mystery's tassle flicks as she rolls quickly onto her stomach so if she had to move it was possible for her to do so easily, sighing a breath if relief when she only felt a tiny microscopic twinge of sickness in her stomach and throat. Lieing underneath Kih she stared toward the brute from between her mates fores now as he trembled slightly above her from the rumbling in his chest and she kept her auds pinned tight to her skull, waiting for him to give her any signs on what to do.

Jeaunu comes out of the brush, seeing that he was spoted. He swishes his tail to show that he is frendly and means no harm, and he also appears to bow before Kihyah almost like an act of submission. "Forgive me if I startled you and your mate, but its just that it has been so long since I have seen other wolves!" Jeaunu cries.

Kihyah snorts loudly, his hair now standing on end at his neck and along his spinal column to indicate his agitation. " Quiet your incessant drawl. I don't take kindly to loud wolves and I much don't take kindly to those that watch us from a distance." he moves slowly over top of his mate, he uses his large intimidating form to stalk towards the other male. "Now I won't ask you again, what is your purpose here and if I get the same LOUD answer I will rip your vocal chords out of your throat so fast that not another sound will be uttered from your lifeless corpse ever again." he growls coming down on the new comer to his lands.

"I'm sorry. I was in the mountains and my pack dissapeared, so I have been wandering and looking for a new place to live." He tries to appear as submissive as possible in order that he may not appear a threat.

Kihyahs fangs got real close to the exposed throat that was staring up at him from the over turned wolf with his tail in between his legs. He snarls and snaps his jaws down right before his throat, then all sounds cease from him and he plops his hinds down to look down at the wolf. He raises a brow tilting his crown down and to the right slightly. " Now that we have that out of the way, I own this land as far as my scent goes it is a long journey to the other end of my scent line. I have enough game to support a vast pack, however few are allowed for I will not accept disrespect. The word of my mate and myself is law here...by the way I'm Kihyah." he turns keeping his eyes trained on the wolf as he circles around Mystery to nuzzle softly into her neck still alert to the males every move.

"My name is Jeaunu, and I can promise you that I would never give any disrespect to anyone. But I have been searching for a home since my pack dissapeared" He sits up and looks at Kihyah, still trying to look friendly and respectful at the same time.

Having watched as her mate confronted the stranger Mystery's tassle had continued to flick in her uneasyness and she shot him nasty glares whenever the brute would even glance at her as she lied behind Kih but once she felt her mates nuzzles after he circled around her she let her auds relax and the her frame relaxed along with them as she let out a content sigh to her mate. Leaning her crown against him she moved slightly to press her frame close against his as she felt safer the closer she was to him. She really wanted to be underneath him but she wasnt sure if he would like that much if he had to move.

Kihyah chuckles deep in his chest as his face rubs softly against his mates nape, " Mmm...well these lands are taken by myself and you won't find any free territory for some many miles past mine besides you need a mate to start your own pack. I'm guessing that is part of the reason you search as well...however I will not permit you the chance to find any in my pack. You are only welcome to pass through our lands...I ask that you continue forward unless you have other business, my mate and I would like to get back to our time together." he says softly licking her auricles clean.

"I am not looking to start my own pack, the one I was apart of was not my own either. I am simply looking for one I can call home, and hopefully call family" Jeaunu looked uneasy, unsure if the alpha would accept him.
