Kodak watched the older wolf move, seeing her eyes he knew her eyesight was probably not what it had been when she was younger. His father had poor vision, he was almost blind because of something the humans did to him although one would have never known it because his didn't carry the milkiness that the fae's did. He took comfort in the fact that she was an older wolf, even though she was older then his parents it felt nice almost as if he had a piece of them back in his life which he wouldn't complain about. " Would you like some meat Star?" he asks having learned from taking care of his father when he first returned from the humans that to be polite and helpful never was a bad thing.

Star lifted her head and looked over at him, almost blindly. She wanted to be polite so she said, "Sure, that would be nice.."

Kodak lifted his rump off the ground and pulled at a leg until it popped free of the carcass then held it up so it wouldn't drag on the dirt to then take it over to the elder. He places it down in front of her before stepping back, " There you go. If you need anything please don't hesitate to ask." he tells her before he went over to Khione to sit and give his ear a good scratching.

star turned to kodak and said, "thank you very much.." then dug right into the food.

Kodak smiles at the elder wolf before he tried to pry his ear from between Khiones teeth. He gave a light laugh as he turned to look at her fully before he wrapped his paws around her neck while placing his mouth around the sides of hers. Giving a few playful chews before bouncing up and away a few paces before lowering his fores to stick his rump in the air while his tail wagged like a flag in the air as he barked a few times at her as if to dare her to come do something about what he had done.

Khione growled playfully and launched herself at Kodak, chewing his paws. she sprinted away, then climbed a tree. She laughed happily and stuck out her tongue at kodak.

Kodak squeaked as Khione "attacked" playfully, he rolled over and played dead something his dad had taught him to do growing up. He lay there not going after her or giving any indication of life in him as he inwardly laughed waiting for her to come check on him.

Kodaks eyes shot open as he turned to playfully "try" to bite at the paw that persisted in batting at his face.

Kodak batted at her face with his free paw and kicked at her a little with his hind legs careful not to hurt her though as they were just playing. He decides to go on the offensive and throws his torso upwards to latch onto her ear and starts to chew at it.

Khione growled playfully. "Fine, you win. " She rubbed her ear. " are you gonna migrate when winter comes?"

The question imposed upon Kodak was one that caught him a little off guard but he was quick to respond, " No. This has always been my home and always will be. Even when the herds leave there is still plenty of other wildlife here to eat...I don't think I could leave the one place that reminds me of my parents and sisters." he says getting to his paws, his tone a more serious one as these were not things he had wanted to think about but it wasn't as though he hated her for asking she was just curious after all. The memories of his life before the tragedy were just difficult to bare so to clear his head he took a little stroll down to the creek to get something to drink.

Star walked to a small clump of berries and ate a few. Star thought they will help her pain in her joints because they were Healing-Berries. Then She layed down to nap in the nice warm sun. With out her knowing, this would be her last time in the warm sun. What she ate, was the very posionous, Death-Berries.

Kodak leaned down to lap up some of the cool, crisp water that flowed across several rocks that lay at the bottom of the creek. He didn't notice Khiones approach as he was too busy staring at the face that stared back at him, it reminded him of his parents the thinness of it his mothers lean muscle structure but the bold lines that were still there from his skull were definitely his fathers. He sighed softly and turned to look up to the elder, that was when he noticed Khiones approach but his eyes were still looking up to Star a definite comfort in this time it appeared as though she had decided to lay down for a nap. He smiled softly and turns back to Khione, " Hey crazy." he greets her with a soft swoosh in his tail.

Star slowly fell into sleep. She could see her, and her pups. She could see herself and her mate start to carry the pups to another den site. One small dark black female pup with dark blue eyes, was accidently left behind. She could see the litle pup try to catch up, but she couldn't. As the dream faded away,she murmured quietly,"..Scar.."
A moment after, she fell into the depth of the death-berries power, and her body went limp. She was Dead.

Khione laughed and lapped up some water. " Hey, lunatic, i'm gonna head back."

Kodak laughs lightly and starts back, " Race ya there!" he yells before taking off. He was fast, faster then most wolves as he had inherited his mothers speed.

Khione immediately raced off, then paused to grab a stick. She caught up to him, panting from the effort, and tripped him into the dirt, laughing, and took off again.

Kodak took a face full of dirt along with his mouth, he slowly got up and spit out the grimy taste it left in his mouth. He shook off his pelt and slowly made his way back to the mound where Star lay.
