Kodaks ears stood at end along with some of the fur at his back, something was wrong and he needed to be there now! His paw pads kicked up dirt as he quickly made his way to where Khione had just yelled from. A desperation in her voice or maybe nothing at all but the bad feeling he had in his gut just from the way Khione had spoken them.

Kodak raised the mound just in time to see that sickening flop a lifeless corpse gives when tried to be moved, no he didn't want this right now she just couldn't be dead. Even though when he looked back and knew for certain in his heart that she had passed on he still carefully approached the dead body of Star as if each step he took just confirmed what he knew but didn't want to know.

Kodak quietly begins to cry, he whimpers softly as he lays down to crawl over to Star's body and lay his chin over her chest. Even though he had only known her for such a little time he was glad to have known her, he raises his head and softly lets out a deep mournful howl in the females honor. He would fill the territory with his howl, interested only in others knowing and hopefully she would hear him where ever the life after leads that he held her with very high regards and that she would be remembered as he would remember his family forever.

snake walked around "hey,ross, more wolves" he whispered to his sister.
rosswell peeked up from the grass"cool! but dont let them see me." she said as she sneaked away.snake just nodded,he was bigger than his sis,but he was the runt and she was older than him so she was alpha...sorta. he howled a hello as his sis gave him a dirty glance

Kodak couldn't really be bothered with other things, he knew the other wolves were there but his mind was elsewhere. They couldn't just leave the elders body laying there, it would attract predators and worse. His body ached when he rose but he pushed through the weakness he felt to grab the scruff of her neck and then he begins to drag her body off determining he would lay it to rest in a spot where the sun would always hit it during the day as he didn't like how sickeningly cold her body felt against him now as it stiffened in his mouth from rigor mor'tis starting to set in.

Taking Kodak all of an hour and a half he finishes what he had set out to do, taking one last moment of thinking upon the elder wolf before he turned to head back towards the den.

Spyro sniffed the ground,smelling a scent he had smelled before. He did not rekognize it,but he could tell it was female. There was a differint smell of a male,too. He howled to let the wolves know he was near,and that he ment no harm. The male scent put him on edge, but he ignored it. Then the scent of dead wolf caught his nose,and he tensed. He was ready to fight if he needed to. He walked around,this new place had been burned,or at least where he was. The black grass crunched when he walked. He decided to run a little, just to streatch out his legs. As he ran the scent got stronger. He shuddered at the thought of what he might see on this adventure.

Star lay dead. as her inside started to decompose, her skin started to cave in to her body, leaving a srunken looking, life-less body.

A star shot across the sky, almost as it it had taken Star's soul with it, up into the sky. Like a Star @ heaven

Jackie followed spyros scent. She hadnt seen her oold ffriend for a while. She followed his scent until she caught three other sscents. Then she followed the female scent, knowing that was wear spyro was heading. She broke into a run, soon seeinng spyro in the distance. She followed him until he stopped. He must have found a pack! she thought. She caught up whith him and stopped,seeing a male and female walking away from another wolfs carcass.

spyro sniffed,smelling jackie. He turned to find his old pack mate running the same way he was. He faced the wolves as she ran up beside him.

Spyro reckognized the female from the deer place. He left the corpse alone and nodded at what jackie said.

Spyro sat,wondering if this wolf would rekognize him.
jackies fur rised, making her look bigger than she realy was. She was a little vain when it came to her leadership and fighting skills. She always acted alpha, when in truth she was born a omega.

Kodak busied himself while the other wolves talked, he had heard their approach from the howls and believed them both to be no threat to either him or his friend. He yawns softly, his energy had been sapped from what he had to do so he decided to lay in front of the entrance of the den as he listened and watched the wolves as his father had taught him was part of tending to a pack.
