Starting to name the pups...

His son had gotten him back into the den safely before Mystery or the others even got there, he quickly took in the scents around him and had discovered it had been Kodak who had led him through the rain. It was also then that he realized it was only a matter of time before everyone in the den knew about his eyesight. But he pulled Kodak aside quick after nuzzling Eclipse for a few brief seconds. " Kodak...listen no matter what I want you to keep your little mouth quiet about my eyes." Kodak tried to interrupt but the silver regal nudged him, " No buts Kodak...your mother has worried herself sick over your sister and I, right now we need to let her get her rest...I'll let you tell them when the time is right but you need to help me keep this a secret...okay little wolf?" Kodak agreed just in time for Mystery to slip on into the den along with the humans and he made his way over to them now able to rely on his nose for direction and joined them near the back where Psyche was being placed down.

Kodak had gotten his dad in and had turned around ready to ask his dad what was the deal when his dad pulled him aside to talk to him. " But dad..." he went silent when his father went on to explain, he looked over towards his mother when he ducked into the den not at all feeling comfortable not telling his mother something this important but he could tell his father had been right. His mother looked out of it to say the least, as though in some kind of haze she seemed to carry herself into the den with some difficulty and he whimpers softly before bounding over to check up on her next.

Susan set the pup down next to her sister and went about removing the collars that had once been able to track them. Turning them off almost immediately before she handed them off to her friends to carry. When they were finished she sighed softly knowing it was time to say their goodbyes. She places a light hand on the males head, " Well I'm gonna miss ya big guy. You take care of these pups and your girl for us you hear? We want to come back and see you all grown up and old together okay?" she choked out the last part as tears started to sting the corners of her eyes and she swallowed at the lump that had formed in her throat. The silver male licked her face and whined softly making her laugh lightly, " Alright alright I know you'll miss us too." she smiled pushing him lightly off of her so she could stand to brush off her pants. " You guys ready?" she asks turning to her two assistants who just nodded sullenly. They said their last goodbyes and gave more affectionate petting to the rest of the pack before they all headed for the jeep with their supplies and heavy hearts.

Mystery had sat through getting her collar off her wet pelt, shivering gently even inside the warm den. Her derma wasn't drying very quickly at all. Once free the fae moved to lay down against the wall of the den and wrap a gentle fore around Psyche. Kissing over the pups frame she groomed her littlest, making sure to be gentle around her stitches as the humans started to say their goodbyes. When she was petted the mistress would gently lick a hand or a wrist with a soft whine. She watched the humans make her way out, a soft sigh escaping the mistress as she would actually miss them and they had helped them so much. Once they were gone the fae laid her crown down on her fore and closed her eyes, she still shivered and her head hurt, everything hurt her. When Kodak had bounded over to him she had given her baby boy a weak smile, exhausted and tired. When she finally realized she could have her Kih by her again her eyes flickered open to let out a soft whimper to him.

Psyche was glad to have her mother kissing her, snuggled up against her fore with a content sigh. The tiny pup was tired, it had been a long day for everyone and she was ready to just fall asleep. Eclipse was also curled up against her and their Mother, Eclipses chin laying across Psyches hip gently as she yawned heavily. The pups eyes were soon drooping once everyone left, and soon the girls were fast asleep even against their mother's cold damp frame.

The silver regal joined the rest of his family finally at the back of the den, he too was sad to see the humans go but very relieved he still had an uneasiness about humans and their kind but these three had made him ponder if his previous thoughts about their species was all true. He lays his frame around his lover and pups only to go about grooming them all of the damp rain that had matted their fur to their bodies. He couldn't see much of what he was doing but again his amazing sense of smell helped him distinguish a nose from a rear as he licked them all clean of the wet cold rain knowing that his role of protector needed to be filled yet again and sleep could not come easy...not when the weight of his recent blindness weighed so heavily on his thoughts.

Kodak patiently waited his turn to get groomed, the pups getting cleaned first so they wouldn't catch their deaths before their mother. He murrs when his fathers tongue moved over his pelt to rid him of the rain water next after his sister Psyche. Even leaning up into the grooming as he shut his tiny little orbs to enjoy the affection, he sighs contently happy to have all of his family back in one place. He had felt so lost and alone when everything had been going on that now he was just exhausted and soon he fell asleep with his sisters.

Susan and the others drove silently back into town where they visited with the local police, explaining everything that had happened. A few hours later they witnessed the creeps behind all of it dragged in with handcuffs around their wrists. So that was that...the three headed for the nearest hotel to spend the night before having to leave the next morning to return to their separate lives once more.

The brute finally set about drying himself off, rising slowly from his family to move towards the entrance and give out a few good shakes all down his body that made his fur fly outwards and fling the droplets of water every which way. He then sank down to his rump and started licking away, drying himself of the damp water that clung to his fur. It wasn't long before he was satisfied leaving the top of his head and parts of his back he couldn't reach, then he returned to her side to lay beside her once more. He leans his head softly against hers as he closed his eyes and readied himself for the night.

The male listened closely to her breathing, it was soft yet made a light noise as it was pressed lightly against something or at least that's what it had sounded like to him. It had a calming effect on the brute and his jaws parted as they were grabbed by a long yawn that indicated his own need to sleep after the days events. He nuzzles softly into her neck before finally giving into the hazy fog that came right before sleep before eventually giving into what his body needed most, a good rest.

The silver male had shifted in his sleep when she made the noises to carefully lay a fore across her body as he snuggled into her. Her sneeze however jolted him out of his slumber as her head was flung into his and he shook his own out with a yawn as he looked back to her curious as to where the sneeze had come from. Soon he figured it out, her body wore the signs of pain whether she tried to hide it or not he had always been able to tell. He softly rolled his tongue out to groom her neck lightly as he whimpered to her softly in concern over her.

The silver regal nosed the pups when they started to wake and then moved his head to indicate them to look towards their mother, hoping they would see she wasn't feeling good and would keep quiet. He encourages them quietly to help him with getting her fever down, wrapping his frame around her he knew the kids could lay on her better then he could without causing her pain. He watched as Kodak took the hint and wraps his tiny little figure around the fae's neck, he then whines softly to encourage Eclipse to help while he tends to Psyche making sure her stitches hadn't pulled free in the night and that she was safe at the moment. He then would gently and very carefully move her too so she could feel a part of the group effort in making their mother feel better.

Kodak had waken when his mother had coughed then whined out in pain, he whimpers softly hearing her but then draws silent as he watches his dad comfort her. Wanting to help he was more then willing to keep quiet when his father explained she wasn't feeling good and he climbed carefully onto his mothers neck when his father had explained the situation. It was up to him and his sisters to keep their mommy from getting too cold so he laid himself across her neck to then murr softly to her in an effort to keep her sleeping and help take care of her as good as his daddy was.
