Starting to name the pups...

Her little girl starting to fall asleep as she was warm in the sun beside her mother the mistress set her chin back against her fores as she watched her other two pups tumble over one another as they played. Her son at one point getting a little to rough and tugging to hard at his sisters ear she yelped, whimpering and pulling away. He let go as soon as he realized he had hurt her though, whining and scooting forward to run his little pink tongue along her ear gently. Their Mother smiled, watching as they both started to give each other a little bath.

The silver regal stopped when the creature did, now not far at all from the den he jumps the bush the human was hiding behind and it squealed letting out blinding flashes that dazed him. He felt the female move from under him and he snapped his jaws down in that direction he had hold of something and tore at it still trying to blink away the white that was still covering his vision. Another scream and suddenly he got a nose and eyeful of something that burned terribly he cries whimpering terribly as he wipes his face into the ground. The human girl he barely heard over the searing pain crash through the trees right in front of him and away from the den.

Her crown springing up and audits perking forward as a squeal sounded not far from the den the fae flickered her auds, nares twitching as she couldn't tell what had made the sound and she was upwind of everything in that direction. When the scream pierced the air though the faes hackles rippled, yipping to her pups and they quickly scurried into the den. Taking her half asleep girl into the den she set her down deep inside. With all three pups inside the femme slipped back out into the open, they knew by now not to move. Perking her auds she could suddenly hear her mates cries and whimpers, her frame impulsively lunging forward towards his voice as she slipped quietly through the trees to find him rubbing his face along some moss. Whimpering softly she leaned down, nares twitching as she went to lick over his face to get whatever was on it off for him. Being met by some nasty tasting stuff she shook her crown for a moment before going back to trying to clean him.

Feeling her licks to his face had scared him at first, blind from the spray and blinding light plus his nose was running and couldn't get a clear scent of anything he wasn't even sure it was her but figured it must be. He whimpers softly to her an apologetic sound as he had promised to return safely to her and he wasn't sure what was going on but it didn't feel good with all the burning that was still going on, her licks were somewhat helping but not much it was her presence that was calming him down.

Hearing his apologetic whimper to her she just started to murr to him, trying to comfort him more as she continued to lick over his face. Ever so gently she ran her pink ribbon over his eyes, eventually moving down his muzzle where it seemed to be the strongest. Licking over his nose gently she wrinkled her own nose, sick of the taste of the horrid stuff. It didn't surprise her it was hurting him, just licking it off was making her eyes water and she had to shake out her crown a few times before finally continuing for him again.

His vision was finally starting to clear up as his nose started to slow and the tears that had been flooding down his face had helped rinse out whatever foul stuff had been in it. He could see clearly now that it was his lover and whines softly to her an almost pathetic thanks for her help if she hadn't been there he wouldn't have known what to do plus she always gave him a sense of well being when he was around her which helped calm the brute into realizing that whatever the stuff was it wasn't permanent.

Hearing his soft thanks to her the fae smiled lightly, rubbing her muzzle along his gently before she would lick his tears from his fur. Once she was sure he could see again she shifted on her peds, having been away from her pups for to long she was getting uneasy. Giving out a quiet whimper to him so he could hear her discomfort she took a few steps back toward the den before turning back to make sure that he could follow her.

He barks for her to go as he rises slowly to his peds still pawing at his snout as he sneezed a few times. Shortly after following her back to their den still taken by fits of sneezes every now and then he'd have to stop momentarily to regain himself as the sneezes were so hard that he closed his eyes while they happened. Pawing at his nose was his only real attempt at scratching it and trying to get the rest of that stuff out of his nose.

Trotting back to the den once her Kih said it was ok she quickly slipped inside, yipping lightly for her pups and it only took a moment for all three of them tocome bounding towards her from the back of the den. Murring softly to her little ones she leaned down to nuzzle her snout into them before moving to lay at the entrance of the den with them as she waited for her mate.

He finally reaches the den and is sneeze free, his sinuses clear now from his first experience to pepper spray and a clumsy photographer which he knew nothing of other then he wanted to stay clear from whatever it was the next time he was near it. The littlest girl happily bounds over to him and with tail wagging hard he lowers himself onto the den floor to give her attention putting a paw over her as his son came bounding over ready to declare war against his dad when he just got his face in a larger mouth then he had anticipated causing the little scamp to high tail it back over to his mother while the bigger girl made her dad know he was missed with a well placed paw to the cheek. " So grown up now are we." he laughs and gives her underbelly a big lick causing her to giggle. He turns his gaze to his lover with a wide grin on his face, " I think his name should be Kodak." he tells her with a nod toward the red little rascal who was now scaling his mother like a rock.

Mystery perked her audits as her pups sprung up to greet their Father, a soft smile making its way across her maw as he plopped down to show them some attention. Pulling herself up onto her peds the onyx fae tredded closer to her mate and pups, plopping her petite frame down to watch her little ones crawl all over her Kih. Chuckling when her son was met with his Fathers maw and decided to sprint back over to her, practically pouncing ontop of her snout. Laughing softly she let him crawl ontop of her crown, Murring as her boy gnawed at her audits. Her warm gaze shifted to her silver brute when he talked, looking back up at her son when he finished. "Kodak.. I like it." The mistress murred, her tassel swaying happily against her hinds.

He nods it was agreed then that their son would be named Kodak, he had a wide grin on his face proud of their son. " What about these two little trouble makers? Any ideas?" he asked her leaning forward to give her a lick along her maw before his attention was drawn back to the two girls who were now trying to get away from him instead of running to him. But they had a lot of energy and were obviously needing to let some of it out.

The mistress smiled and leaned into her mates gentle kiss to her maw after he talked, watching the girls as they tried to scurry away from their father and every now and then would tumble over one another in their excitement. Her gaze shifting to her youngest daughter as she giggled softly as she played the fae murred as she thought. Psyche was the first thing that came to the faes mind, a story her older sister had told her about a young human girl that had captured the heart of the God of love. Her tassel swaying the femme still watched the pup, the little thing could already capture the heart of anyone she met. Looking up to her silver brute she finally spoke to him, "Psyche.. for your baby girl." The inky fae breathed warmly.

He nods with a smile, " I think that's a wonderful name." he turns to their smallest girl and gives her a lick to the crown. She murrs and decides to leave her siblings for a moment to curl up into her dad to take a power nap, he laughs lightly and paws at Kodak and the only girl they still had yet to name. " And what about her?" he asks curious if his mate had any other ideas on names as she seemed rather good at it. His tail was thumping softly in the ground as he laid his head upon the cool dirt, as the day was starting to warm it was apparent that today was going to be very hot as he was already beginning to pant softly to rid himself of some of the heat the cool dirt underneath helped as well.

Mystery watched as her pups played with their father, Kodak having slipped down off of his mothers crown to go and attack his Dads fores. Smiling as she watched them she looked over to her eldest daughter, her audits flickering as she thought. Looking over as Psyche went and curled up in her Fathers pelt before her other daughter decided to bound over to her. Giggling the fae lowered her crown, touching noses with her daughter before she spoke to her. "Do you have any ideas for your name?" She asked, the little femme just wagging her tassel wildly through the air. Smiling she looked into the pups loving orbs, they were still dark as all the pups were, not really taking up their colors yet but hints of the hues could be seen. Then suddenly her audits cupped forward towards her mate as she asked the pup another question, "How about Eclipse.. you like that?" Her daughter responded with a small yip, her rump moving from side to side with how hard her banner swayed behind it. "Well go see if your Dad likes it." The mistress giggled, watching as she bounded over to her father.

He chuckles as the big black fluff ball of his daughter came bounding over happily to her father pronouncing with barks and yips that she had a name too. He had heard her mother speaking with her and had caught the name she had given the overly excited pup whom tackled his face only to begin kissing it. " I like it too." he tells her as his own tassel picks up its wag to thud harder onto the ground. He looks over to his mate with the one eye that wasn't covered by the pup still clinging to his face and gave her a wide grin to say that he loved her and that the name was indeed a good pick.

Mystery laughed lightly as she watched her Kihs face get covered in ebony fluff as their daughter pounced on his face and when she saw his loving grin to her she pulled herself up onto her pawpads. Shaking out her derma the mistress moved to lie beside her silver brute, licking his audits for a moment before moving to tickle Eclipse so she would slip off of her Fathers face. Once having saved him from the excited pup a murr rose up in her throat, leaning down to glide her soft ribbon tongue along her mates scruff at first. Her tassel swayed as she began to groom him, having seen how hot he was getting even inside the den she wanted to help him by grooming him and by doing so thinning out his pelt that had began shedding out his thick winter coat for the warmer months. Slowly moving down she groomed over his shoulder blades and hackles.

He stretches out as he murrs to his lovers grooming, Eclipse now settling in with her brother and sister for their mid day nap looked up at her father then her mother for a moment before letting out one of the biggest yawns Kihyah had ever seen grip the pup before she slipped into her sleep. He turns a little while his mate continues to groom him, his neck stretches down to kiss her audits while she cleaned his side in appreciation for not only her care to him but also for her. He closed his silver orbs thinking back on the day they had first met and his murrs grow deeper, if wasn't for that spontaneous day over a year ago now they would never be where they were and he opens his eyes to look at her only to give her face many delightful kisses with his tongue gliding over her onyx coat letting her know just how much he loved her.

Watching as her mate stretched out on his side so she could groom him easier she quickly went to work running her tongue along the part of his belly she could reach before scooting down to go over his hind lightly. When the fae felt her mates loving kisses to her audits her murrs grew a bit louder, letting her fores slide out from underneath her again as she had sat up to easier groom him. Laying with her side against his spine and having finished what she could of taking care of his coat she let him kiss all along her face, closing her jades as her tassel swayed softly against their hinds. Every now and then the faes tongue would slide out to kiss his maw as he showed her such affections, glad for the time they had without having to worry about the pups too much. Although they were getting old enough that they would soon have to be weaned off of nursing and the mistress whined at the thought of her babies not needing such a thing from her, being one that liked the feeling of her pups pressed up into her and needing her milk.

Feeling her tension from her thoughts his kissing to her face slows to a stop along with his tail. " Are you alright?" he asks her quietly so as not to wake the pups up, he was fondly enjoying his quiet time with his mate and didn't want it to stop because he had done something wrong which was what his first thoughts jumped to an instinct he had grown up with but thinking about it further just didn't make it add up. Something else had to be troubling her and he wanted to make it better not for his own sake but hers now was a time they should be relaxing together or so that's what he thought.

Being jarred from her thoughts as her mates spoke and she realized his kissed had stopped she blinked, looking over at him, "Hm..? Oh, yeah I'm fine babe.. just thinking about the pups." She breathed as she settled her crown against her mates shoulder and gave his chin a loving kiss as all her tension was gone now and her jaw parted so she could explain to him. "Their getting old enough that we'll have to wean them off of my milk soon and onto kill. I don't know how much I like that, they're growing up too fast." The femme smiled softly to her mate, having been whispering to him so she wouldn't wake the little ones.

" Too fast?" he chuckles and sighs, " Sometimes I think that but there are those moments where I don't think it's fast enough. Besides even though you do take their milk from them it won't stop them from wanting to snuggle up into your side like always and sleeping there unless its my side...forgive me if I miss the days where it was only you snuggling into my side and I into yours and I have my days where I wish that was all it was again. But I think every father feels that at one point or another because even though I say all that, I wouldn't trade in our family for the world." he says quietly to her, he gently licks her mouth in a tender kiss. " Besides if they didn't grow up we wouldn't have had the most memorable naming day ever." he says with a soft smile on his maw, it had been eventful indeed and for some reason the pups added to that even if it had been moments of fear for their safety it wouldn't have led to all of this if it hadn't happened that way or at least that's how he saw things.

"I never said I didn't miss our time alone babe.." The mistress smiled, rubbing her muzzle along her mates jaw line and letting a loving murr escape her throat as she gave his chin and snout a few gentle kisses. "And yes sometimes it does seem like they need to grow up faster but as they get older we'll get our time back, we won't have to keep such a close eye on them." The femme breathed, nibbling now at the back of her Kihs right aud as she pressed her frame closer against his spine and moved a fore out from under herself to drape it across his ribs softly.

He murrs heavily in his chest which in turn causes the pups to start in their sleep, he smiles upon hearing it and laughs lightly. " I know, but there are times when the light just catches you right..." he growls a little playfully as his tassel begins to thump hard against the ground again, he loved his pups there was no doubt about that. " But I know you're right as always...but I do have to say the sun does serve your curves justice." he said giving her cheek a lick before laying his head down and closing his eyes as he let out a little yawn ready to join his pups in a short power nap.

The fae smiled softly hearing her mates playful growls, her own growls escaping her throat as she moved to lightly nip his cheek and one of her audits permed back to listen to his tassel thump against the dirt. She chuckled at his words softly before he moved to lay his head down and she licked the back of his crown before she spoke again. "I'm glad the sun is doing it's job," She teased, settling her crown across his nape as he yawned and she smiled lightly, kissing his cheek before closing her eyes and letting a tired sigh escape her.
