Getting away from moon cliff

Sephera felt an overwhelming sense of guilt suddenly, and she didn't know why until Vita crashed his body into hers. She looked away from him, but already knew he had seen her tears. She was startled by his sudden appearance, but didn't show it as she quickly fought to stop her tears. Vita's fur felt good against hers, his warmth relaxing her stressed muscles. She felt as though the world, or at least the moon, was on her shoulders. But with Vita, it was more bearable. She could handle it with him around.

He spoke softly to her, saying her name, and she turned around to face him during his moment of hesitation. When he said those three words, emotions raged inside her. Shock, amazement, and happiness. She was frozen momentarily, but snapped herself out of it as fast as possible and nuzzled his neck. "I love you too," she whispered truthfully.

Sephera felt when Vita's muscles suddenly relaxed when she told him she loved him too. It was as though he was scared of her response. Apparently, she had given him the one he wanted. His body leaned into hers more and she nuzzled his cheek as he looked to the sky. She looked up as well, noticing how late it truly was. The stars were bright overhead, and she looked for the specially bright star that had guided her to here. When she found it, a gentle smile lit her face and her green eyes were bright. Vita yawning and putting his head closer to hers startled her from her entrancement, but she leaned her head on his. He told her they needed to get sleep for whatever what was to happen tomorrow. Personally, she didn't care what happened tomorrow. She had Vita by her side, and that's all she needed to be happy. But she agreed that they needed sleep and rested her head on Vita's paws, snuggling into him to get comfortable.

As Sephera made herself comfortable, Vita did so too. Through his mind, thoughts sped about. He wasn't really sure what to think of this whole, 'Daughter of The Moon' thing, but he was in it with Sephera, so he didn't worry. He closed his eyes and let the dreams unleash.

Sephera's eyes drifted closed, and the last thing she saw was the bright moon gleaming in the sky. For the first time, she fell asleep happy. No dreams haunted her, except pointless ones. Waking up the next morning, she was refreshed and awake. Carefully, untangled herself from Vita and stood, walking to the lake. She got a cool drink of water then admired the marking on her shoulder. It was bright white, sticking out like a target on her black fur.

After a long, dreamless sleep, Vita's eyes finally began to peel open. He was facing the lake, with Sephera standing at the bank, lapping down water. He uneasily pulled himself to his feet and began to stretch. As he finished, he felt great. He had found his... Well, could he call her his 'Soul mate?' He guessed so, them being linked and all. He heard a creaking sound way off into the forest. A much louder sound overcame it, some snapping sounds then a crash. A tree must have fallen. Isn't that a strange thing to wake up to? Vita forced himself to move around, despite his lack of energy. He very slowly made his way over to Sephera, and nuzzled her in the side once he finished what had seemed like a journey.


(By the way, the crashing tree was pointless)

Sephera's head snapped up from the water when she heard the tree crashing. It startled her, her heart jumping in shock. It was sudden, and there was no way she could've known it was going to happen. Next thing she knew, Vita was nuzzling her side. She giggled since it tickled her fur, then quickly nuzzled him back. He looked worn, like this whole thing had taken its toll on him. "Here, get some water and then I'll get you some food," the words flowed from her mouth with little hesitation now. She couldn't tell if that was a good thing or not. Pent up energy was hitting her since that tree fell, and she had the desire to go and leap over it. Sail through the air, that familiar feeling of flying. Or, at least the closest she can get to flying being a wolf and all.

Sephera trotted of into the woods, feeling younger than ever. Her tail wagged steadily back and forth while her tongue lolled out of the side of her mouth. For this small section of time, she put all her emotions about everything that happened aside, and was just... a wolf. Her trot soon broke into a lope, then into a gallop as she directed her path towards where she heard the tree fall. Once she reached the clearing, she was surprised at how big the fallen trunk truly was. It was almost her height even! How did it make that small of a sound? Still, she backed up a few yards. Then, she bolted forwards and lurched herself into the air. Gracefully, she managed to lightly sail over the wood and land on the other side without any complications. She whipped around when she heard a light scratching on the inside of the tree's trunk.
Very carefully, she padded to the trunk and glanced in the bottom. A pair of eyes met her own and she yelped, stumbling back. By closer observation, Sephera realized it was a bear cub. She walked closer, then heard a branch snap behind her. A very mad looking mother bear was standing there. Sephera's eyes widened, and she ran. The bear swatted at her, scratching her right hip and leg. She yelped, running faster. When she was a fair distance away, she simply caught a large buck and dragged it back to the lake. She dragged it to Vita's side, making sure to keep her left side facing him so he didn't see the bleeding scratches.

When Sephera dragged breakfast to Vita, she saw his gaze flash to her stomach, as if seeing something on the other side. But whatever it was, he brushed it off and greeted her. Once he did so, he dug into the buck. As he ate, Sephera couldn't help but feel proud that she had brought down the animal and dragged it all the way here. Something about it this time made her feel different. More pride, more happiness made her heart race. Vita's next words snapped her back to the world and she nodded in response to his thanks. His next question shocked her so much, she took a tiny step back and her eyes widened. As quick as she could though, she regained her bearings and thought about his question. Not to mention, her answer. She sighed heavily.
"To be honest with you, I haven't thought about it. Until now, I've been alone, so I was focused on surviving. Now, I'm focused on staying safe, getting to know you better, and figuring out the whole Daughter of the Moon thing," she admitted, her shy gaze on the ground.

At his words, Sephera originally sucked in a breath. But then she realized Vita would never mean to hurt or offend her. It was probably just rough to word that in a way that wouldn't offend her. Even in Vita's gaze she could see how he was worried of her reaction, which just proved her point. She thought about any answer to his question, but her mind was so confused about the idea of even being a Daughter of the Moon.

"I honestly have no idea about why it chose me. Maybe..." she sighed. "I truly have no possible ideas."

Sephera's answer didn't surprise Vita one bit. She knew just as much as him. Without thinking, he pulled himself up to his feet and began towards the lake. As he neared the shoreline, he dove in without hesitation. As he floated to the surface, he paddled around for a while. After the swim, He dragged himself out of the blue wet and dropped onto his side on a large, smooth rock. The crisp rays of sun soothed his skin underneath his fur, he could lay here for a moon.

Sephera was slightly disappointed when Vita just got up to go swim. He hadn't even commented on how her side was dripping with blood. She didn't want him to, because she didn't want him worrying. But at the same time she wanted him to comment, proving that he cared enough about her to care. She sighed heavily at her own conflicting emotions, observing Vita as he swam. She pushed all thoughts from her mind and just simply watched. It surprised her that she could do that, not think at all.
When he emerged from the lake, she expected him to walk over to her. But he didn't. He went to a smooth rock and laid there, soaking in the sun. Sephera turned her gaze to her paws. Did she do something? Was he avoiding her now? She shook her head, growling at her self to snap out of it. Not caring if Vita noticed, Sephera stiffly walked to the den and entered in. She got a quick drink of water, then laid down at the far end, facing her back to the entrance.

Sephera's ears twitched back as she heard Vita enter the den soon after she had laid down. A rumble grew in her chest, but never truly turned into a growl. It almost sounded like a steady snore as she listened to Vita walking to her side. He laid down behind her, something she would have snapped at if it had been anyone else since she hated wolves behind her. But she quieted her grumble as he nuzzled her back gently. Feeling a weight on her back, she guessed he set his head on her fur. Her eyes closed and she relaxed as he began to speak. All anger and/or worry left her in a snap. Vita's soft, husky voice rang through the silence in an apology, causing one of Sephera's ears to twitch toward him. Her hope raised as he told her he didn't mean to leave her, but her body went rigid as he asked what happened to her flank. Her eyes snapped open, and she still looked at the den's wall.
"Just an accident while hunting, thats all," she whispered, trying to put it off as a small thing even though the wound stung badly.

(Ooc:Btw, what time is it in context? I thought it was like noon, but they are almost about to fall asleep...)

Sephera put her wound off as no big deal. The blood was rolling down her fur and onto his, which didn't bother him at all. It was more than an accident; she could have passed out from blood loss. But, he wasn't about to ignore her judgement. He felt her fur relax onto her skin, and her muscles relax underneath it. Sephera's calmness transferred to Vita, who was about to pass out. He didn't want to fall asleep yet, so he decided to try to start a conversation. "In that dream you had... You know, the one where you learned that you are the daughter of the moon? Well... Do you think that large white wolf symbolizes something? Like... the messenger of the moon?"

(Ooc~Yeah, it's probably around noon. She's just tired from blood loss and from hunting.)

Sephera felt slightly dizzied, though at that moment she couldn't figure out why. Then she recalled the amount of blood she must be losing and decided it must simply be blood loss that was causing her to be dizzy. Her ear twitched as Vita talked to her, questions again. She nodded. "I do think it symbolizes the messenger of the moon. He seemed a lot like it. I mean, I don't know what else he would be, ya know what I mean?" she said, her voice getting softer as she spoke. By the end, her voice was as soft as a whisper. Her vision was blurring as her eyelids get heavier. "V-Vita..." she breathed as she realized she was about to faint.

For what felt like two moons, but was probably just a fourth-sun, Sephera only saw black. Nothing went through her head, nothing crossed her vision, it was just black. Some would've found it peaceful, but she found it scary. When she finally awoke, the first thing she noticed was the searing pain of her wound. She yelped out, pulling herself from her side to her stomach. She noticed the moss on her side, and it ground into her wound when she moved. Sephera whimpered, glancing at Vita to see him waking up. She must've woken him with her yelp. She hoped he had any idea how to stop or numb the pain, and her throat surprisingly didn't feel dry. It felt perfectly moist. How...? she wondered.

Sephera listened carefully to Vita's words, trying to focus on his smooth voice rather than the pain racing through her body. It worked only somewhat, so she tried to find another thing to focus on. His scent. She breathed in deeply, getting his musky yet addicting scent. It was like her personal drug, and she was hooked. Everything about him had her hooked. His look, his soft fur, his beautiful eyes, his voice, his personality, everything. It was as though he was taking over her life piece by piece. Suddenly, a pressure was on her neck. And it sent pure and utter pleasure through her body. Sephera's body relaxed, and she grumbled with happiness. (almost like a human's moan, but however a wolf would express that) The pain was forgotten, and was slowly drifting away thanks to the poppy seeds and thanks to Vita.

Vita pulled away, and Sephera almost whimpered at the loss of contact. She came out of her state of relaxation very slightly as he spoke to her. In response to his question, she hummed and nodded. She looked over at Vita, her tongue lolling out of the side of her mouth in a silly manner. Her eyes had a sparkle as she was beginning to gain her energy back. Vita's warmth transferred to her, and her body heated up. She nuzzled his shoulder, leaning into him.

"I love you," she whispered breathily in his ear.
