Starting to name the pups...

Kihyahs head was instantly up off his mates neck, his audits perked forward he wasted no time as he rose quickly to his pedistals and leapt over his family to sprint in the direction he heard his daughters desperate cries. Fear gripping his heart that something had happened to her, ignoring all the soreness his body held from yesterdays events he forces himself over that log in a majestic leap over his daughters head. Landing out a ways in front of her with a growl on his lips ready to face what it was that was scaring her. However finding nothing he starts to relax a little and turns to the curled up Psyche who was still shaking softly. " Psyche my little one, are you alright?" he asks looking her over with concern ebbed into his silver orbs.

Having heard his sisters cries he scampered quickly to a hiding spot knowing if his dad spotted him it was all over for him, however he was sure his father darted a gaze his way while in passing so just to be safe he crept back to the den using the chaos of the commotion to try and sneak back in unnoticed.

The silver brute after hearing her account of things leans down and noses her softly then licks at her tears before scooping her up into his maw to carry her back home. His ears twitch lightly a little concerned that a hungry predator may have heard her desperate cries but it seemed the coast was clear so he slowly trotted back to the den deliberating what he was going to do with Kodak. The young pup didn't seem to understand like the others that the danger outside of their protection could kill him. He sighs the boy did take after him, he had been an adventurer before the humans had beaten it out of him and he certainly didn't want his son to learn that way. It wouldn't be long before they reached the den again, so he murrs softly to his little girl happy she was safe instead of the way his mind had imagined when he had heard those heart stopping cries.

Kodak had heard his mothers grumble and knew he had been caught, his ears drooping low as his eyes looked to the den floor knowing he was in it deep. He sighs and walks over to his mother, tail between his legs he was still wanting breakfast so he attempted to scoot in next to Eclipse to find a place he too could latch onto wanting his fill of the milk as well before he'd get his lecture from dad. He watched his mother carefully as he made his way over to her not sure if she'd nip him away until his dad returned or not, so he looked up at her to whimper with his big silver eyes hoping to coax his mother into letting him eat before his punishment.

Her Daddy nosing into her Psyche sniffled gently, Nuzzling her muzzle against him as he licked at her tears. Being picked up then the pup closed her orbs and sighed, pulling her hinds and tassel close to her belly as he carried her. The poor little girl was exhausted just from crying so much, almost starting to drift off in her Fathers grip as she listened to his gentle murrs to her and her frame went slightly limp after a little bit.

Mystery watched as her son slowly slinked towards her, auds still lied back against her crown still as he made his way towards his sister. The fae had been about to nip him away from her stomach before he looked up at her with those big eyes of his, sighing lightly the fae settled her crown to the terra, letting him get breakfast as she knew he was going to get it from his father. Her grumbling continued though, letting him know she wasn't happy with him even as he fed.

Eclispse, feeling her brother slip in beside her, looked over at the red brute pulling back from her mothers stomach only to whisper to him. "You're gonna get it.." She breathed with a smirk before latching back onto Mom and putting her paws on either side of her crown on her Mothers belly. Sucking hungrily at her the little fae closed her orbs as she filled her belly, light murrs escaping her as she took in the warm drink.

The silver brute enters the den to find Kodak eating he sighs, knowing the boy still needed to eat but his scolding would come as soon as breakfast was finished. He gently sets Psyche down by her mother and noses her to wake, " Look it's time for breakfast." he points out to the little girl before turning to Kodak with a stern look held in his eyes, " As for you Kodak...we'll have a word once you're finished." he grunts before turning to head back out of the den, going to retrieve some meat from the elk for himself and his mate knowing that she'd be hungry with the babes draining her as they were.

Kodak was weary of his mom hearing her and seeing her about to nip him before he gave her his eyes, that was a close one...but he knew now that he wasn't going to be getting out of this one and when his sister reaffirmed it he grew scared for the first time as to what his parents might do to him. He ate but not as quickly as normal as he contemplated what might come next. When his father entered his tail shot between his legs so fast that it was like a mouse darting away from a cat. What his father said next scared him even more, he had never seen his dad this angry with him before that he wasn't even yelling plus he didn't call him his little man...just Kodak. Yelling he could deal with but that calm angry look was more terrifying then any amount of yelling his dad could do. He finishes eating only after his dad leaves the den but he doesn't eat much not really having an appetite now that he was scared of what would happen once his dad returned.

Being set down the little faes orbs blinked open slowly, seeing her sister beside her and feeling her Mothers soft, warm fur against her cheek. Shaking her dial out just enough to wake up Psyche cuddled close against her sister, finding her own place to suckle at and get some food into her although all she really wanted to do was go to sleep.

Mysterys audits permed forward seeing her mate enter the den, a sigh of relief escaping the fae as she saw her daughter hanging sleepily from his maw. Watching as he set her down beside her sister and nosed her awake. Feeling her youngest girl start to feed also then the fae relaxed slightly, stretching out her fores lightly as her mate talked to his son. She watched as he tredded out of the den, flickering an aud gently once he was gone. Feeling one of her little ones move away from her stomach the mistress glanced over, seeing her boy sitting there looking terrified. The fae wanted so much to kiss him, tell him it was alright but she knew she shouldn't, he needed to understand how dangerous it was out there for him.

Having finished up her breakfast soon after her sister had been lied beside her Eclipse looked over towards Psyche, she looked like she had had a hard time. Nuzzling her face into her sisters shoulder the bigger girl murred, starting to run her tongue along her sisters neck and auds in just a little affectionate grooming towards her younger sister.

Kihyah thought about what his sons punishment would include as he stripped flesh from the elk to take back to the den, it looked like some foxes had been by to pick at it as well but there was still plenty for his family to eat for the day as long as no one else came along to scavenge off the meal. He ate his fill first before returning with the other for his mate, having decided he would take Kodak for a walk. His son just didn't seem to comprehend how dangerous it was out there for him even after his encounter with the bear so perhaps a stern talk would help plus he knew how much Kodak would hate being left alone with him because he always had preferred his mother and like to try to get out of things by giving his mother those eyes. This time he wanted that boy so scared that he'd never try anything like that again, well at least until he was old enough to do such things alone. Once back to the den he places the meat down for his mate a bit in front of her so she could eat while he escorted his son out. " Kodak...come." he says turning and heading out the cave.

Kodak waited for his fathers return, looking to his mother as if to plead with her to save him but it wasn't long before his father was back. He watched as the tall brute set down two large strips of bloodied meat for his mom then turned to look at him. He gulped loudly when his father demanded he come and started heading out the den, he whimpers softly looking back at his mother and siblings almost in another desperate plea before turning back around to hurry and catch up with his dad not wanting to be scolded for that as well.

Her mate returning with her own dinner Mystery kissed his maw lightly as he leaned down to set the flesh before her. Nares twitching as she lowered her crown down towards the kill she pulled a strip closer to herself, sitting up just slightly so she could hold the flesh between her fores. It didn't take long for the fae to begin to tear the strips into smaller pieces, swallowing the blood lined things down quickly as she fed. Twisting her right aud towards her son as he started to follow his father out of her den she had to force herself not to look at the pup, knowing if she did she was likely to just scoop him up and kiss him. So she kept eating, trusting her Kih with the matter.

Psyche didnt really eat much after her sister had started to groom her auds, moving away from her mothers belly only to curl up into a tiny ball against Eclipse. Setting her crown atop her sisters ribs and letting a tired sigh leave her. It wasn't long before her Dad slinked back inside the den and she looked over as he gave Mom her breakfast, a yawn parting her jaws as the force caused her orbs to close and a whine to escape her just before her enamels came back together. Licking her chops softly she watched her Father as he demanded Kodak to come, his tone almost scaring her a bit too. When her brother looked back at her she lowered her auds, her orbs holding a sincere sorry in them.

Eclipse gently curled her larger frame around her little sisters when she came to snuggle with her, gliding her tongue lovingly across her sisters hackles. Soft comforting murrs left the pup, trying to help her sister sleep as she looked like she needed it and just to make that bound with her sister. Eventually the little fae grew tired herself, with a full belly and warm all curled up around her little sister. Tucking her crown against her sisters belly she closed her orbs, listening to her sister yawn and she did the same.

The silver regal sighs softly as they made their way to the outside of the clearing, beginning to take up marking it before opening his mouth to speak with his son. " Kodak...do you know why leaving the safe area your mother and I have set out for you is dangerous right?" he asks setting his leg down to continue forward as the tiny pup kept a bit off to the left side of his father so that he could do his task without having his son in the way. The boy nodded to his father that he at least understood the reason for the boundries, giving Kihyah a moment to redirect his thinking before coming out with another question for the boy. " Then why did you leave it?" he stops turning to look at his son not wanting some half I don't know answer but the truth.

The little boy did his best to keep up with his dad, having shorter legs made that difficult as he had to quicken his pace a few times just to make sure he didn't fall behind. When his father began to mark he crinkled his little black button nose, his fathers scent was strong when it first left him and he wasn't much used to that yet. When he was asked the first question he nodded, of course his father and mother had both told all of them the importance of the safety zone that was marked out for them several times. Then his dad poised him with a more difficult question to answer without getting in even more trouble but he knew his dad would know if he were telling the truth so it was only right to tell him what he wanted to know, " I wanted to play with Psyche and we...I mean I found this patch of flowers with all these blue butterflies just hanging around and I wanted us to be able to have fun. We never have any fun." he huffed, forgetting why he was having the discussion in the first place and that this wasn't about him having fun or not it was about him getting into trouble but like most pups his age his line of thinking didn't always stay on track when he got going.

Kih gently shook his head as a soft half smile crossed his mouth while he looked towards his son and leaned down to nose him back to the discussion at hand and his son smiles softly to paw at his fathers face for a moment. " That line is there for your protection son, I know you're looking for adventure but try to find it inside the area we've marked out for you." his audits move forward as Kodak asks him what any pup would being given a talking to like that, " It tells the other creatures that inhabit this forest or just simply pass through it that we are here...they know we are wolves and if they mess with our kids we bite back." he growls playfully at his son and nips Kodaks shoulder while his tail began to wag lightly behind him.

Kodak looked up, watching as his father shook his head, when he was nudged to stumble a little as his fathers black nose pushed him lightly. He brings his paw up to paw at his dads face and smiles when he sees the silver wolf's half grin. When his dad continued to speak with him about what he had done he frowned a bit not understanding how such a thing could be so he quickly voiced his opinion, never the shy one as he spoke clearly and as intelligently as his father. " How does that protect us?" when his father explained what he meant he hung on his words having imagined it made some magical barrier and in reality from what he heard it sort of did except their magical barrier was just a reminder that his dad could tear things up without a second thought and when he heard the playful growl Kodaks tiny thing of a tail moved as quickly as it could behind him. He pounces his dads face happy that instead of a scolding he merely got a lesson and a fun one at that, much better then the butterflies that was for sure.

The silver regal shakes his head softly trying to get his son off but once he realized that wasn't going to happen as his son would readjust now climbing onto his fathers crown. Kihyah decides that he likes his new hat and prances over into the den only to try and wake the entire clan up with a light bark, it was morning and they were sleeping. Knowing his pups that meant they would be up late and he knew that was never a good combo, so it was time to play instead and he leaned down to kiss his girls. He gives them both tender licks to their faces to help open their eyes better, he feels Kodak leap from his back and his eyes flicker towards his mate seeing his son land on her back he grins pulling back to bark at them all wanting to enjoy the warm sun knowing they'd only play for as long as he had enough energy to hunt should the need arise.


Kodak held on tightly only to almost get bucked off, he scrambles up his dads face to take up a spot on his head. Those big ears his dad had served well for tucking his feet to hold onto so then he endured the bumpy ride back to the den. He gave out a tiny howl right before his dad barked as his little stub of a tail thumped hard against his hinds. When he felt his dad lean down it was his chance to turn himself around and seeing his mother he instantly let out his own tiny bark before jumping from his dads head to her back, trying to be careful where he lands then carefully crawls towards her face when his dad pulled his attention away. He too wanted to enjoy the outdoors with his family so he scrambled off his mom to join his father but he runs out past him only to stop right outside getting low in wait for his sisters to come out so he could tackle them from there he would take it as it went.

The silver regal watched as the littlest members of his family ran out underneath his frame, he laughs lightly turning back to look at his mate who was looking like she was wanting to just sleep. He moves over to the entrance of the den and marks it, trying to use the musky scent to lure her to stand at least. Her own potent scent all over and he wanted her to join him so he whines softly doing a little prance with his front legs in an anxious display as he needed to keep an eye on the kids but wanted her near him.

Kodak jumps them both since they both came close to being first, he barks and yips in an annoying little brother laugh to run off towards a small rock to dive on top of it and flip around. Ready for any kind of attack from his sisters or so he thought as he watched them closely to see what they were up to, he was sure to stay within the area marked for them especially with their parents joining them soon.

Her mates marking got the fae to atleast stand as instinct told her to do so but once up she hesitated for a few moments, whining quietly to her Kih as she made her way towards him. She just wanted his attention, to sleep without having to worry about anything. The mistress stopped once close to her brute, sighing gently with her auds low as she looked up into his silver orbs.

Both the girls screamed being surprised by their brother, frowning when he laughed and bounded off to sit ontop of a rock like he was all that. Rolling her eyes Eclipse looked over at Psyche, who did the same and they both smiled, their silent conversation working perfectly. Psyche rose to her peds, glaring at Kodak like she was still sore about him ditching her. Eclipse on the other hand growled playfully, darting towards her brother only to leap onto his rock to try and tackle him.

The brute watched as she moved as though dragged, he sighs softly and gently rubs himself along her side before turning to the entrance to the den. " Why don't you get some sleep love? I'll keep an eye on the pups." he says ducking his head out to check on them and seeing they were playing safely within the designated area he smiles and pulls his head back in to raise a brow to his mate.

The pup jumps to avoid his sister Eclipse from tackling him, keeping an eye out for Psyche as he didn't exactly like the look in her eye. Ending up coming down on his sister instead of avoiding her entirely like he had planned he grabs hold of her tail and begins to playfully pretend to eat it as he let out little growls his tail still wagging fast behind him as he rough housed.
